What a dreadful experience, having to que all morning then be told that centurion home affairs made a mistake on my daughter's Birth certificate 7 years ago by NOT STAMPING THE birth certificate, OMG , As if I work there. ? The lady at id application cubicle 4 was of no help . I lost a days salary and had to deal with incompetence because why can they not just correct there own mistake . I am very frustrated and need to warn other citizens of the problems to anticipate because ,you will be dissipointed shame !!

The service and working of Menlyn Home affairs is non existing. Came early, long queue.Waited for an hour, no movement in Queue, second time we were here for COLLECTION!! I thought the minister said they are going to get rid of Queues. We walked in at Centurion lifestyle, there was nobody but they said we must have an appointment!!! I know nothing will change but at least I did not keep Quiet about this TOTAL bad bad service!

I app**** for my ID over 6 weeks ago and I have not received or heard anything from them regarding my id I’ve sent emails multiple times I’ve called and no one is responding.im so upset.

Bad Bad Bad I app**** on the 19th of March 2025 for renewal of my Passport. The lady there was nice to ask/settle me in for the new Id card. So on this day everything went ok... But now to get my documents is a hassle.. 2 Months left no notification received. So yesterday I went to them and give my Id number and was only inform your Id number is for review... What does that mean??? i will ask my manager to email you... Today still nothing received from the manager I also send and email to hacc@dha.gov.za with no feedback received. Is this the way going forward with no services from the department... I really feel sorry for you staff because there is no Job proud in any of the staff. I hope really that someone will get back to me asap.. Thank you AE

EHome affairs website says that no appointment is required for biometric capturing for passport, but the staff are so obsessed with not listening to anyone that they just say appointment or go away, really bad experience, waste of time and money for transport. I competed the online application and paid, but the bank booking is too far for my work trip in June, the staff really just don't care or just ******** of their online system.
