Fixed problem but over priced

First the positive: these guys were quick to respond and arrive within promised time frame. They identified the main problem quickly and also pointed out that our dish needed to be replaced as it seems loose . I understand business is business, so an upsell at any opportunity will be offered. We declined . They replaced the SATCR Top-box. Which was the cause and our tv problem was solved.

We had to settle the bill there and then . I am ok with this… BUT now here is the negative: we were ********** price-wise . I was aware of the call out fee. But was not aware of the excessive installation fee. Plus the top-box price was x4 more than average.

Lesson learned.. know you prices !.. ask more questions BEFORE getting them on site ( I.e. what is installation fees, what does it cover, check the price of items to be installed)

Fortunately we declined the “new dish” offer, realizing afterwards the price they mentioned was way too much .

Will I call them again .. probably not . I really want to support smaller businesses and encourage others to do so too. As long as I get a guaranteed, quality job at a reasonable price .

HD-Dish Installers AKA DishCap ( found them via Google) failed on the last point . Sorry .😞
