Daylight robbery!!
Called for the replacement of a circuit breaker today. Guys was at my house very quick. Work done took about 20 minutes. Bill was shocking!! R2 980. Labor R1 485 Trace and locate ?? R 980 Breaker R425 Is this standard practice?????

The electrician was at my premises at 16:00 as I let him know that my son will be home. I arrived at 17:00 and he insisted on an EFT payment before he left. No quotation was given before the work was done. After I called two other electricians for quotations (Both about R1100) I tried to stop the payment and requested that the parts be removed. Payment did however go through.
I told the electrician that I suspect that it was only the circuit breaker which it was. No search and locate for R980 was necessary.
Yes the emotions run high from both sides, that is why I took the phone from my dad and tried to have civilized conversation, but YOU told me that you will come and sort out my 70 year old father and teach him a lesson!
