Fair pricing on rental vehicles. However, they take too long to release the hold on the credit card reserved amount for insurance. I returned the vehicle on 25 Dec 2025, it is now 14 Jan 2026 and the money is still reserved. The agent mentioned that it takes 5 working days to release the funds, however when I later enquired with customer services, they mentioned it takes 7-21 working days.

I have been trying to rent a car from thrifty website for 4 Dec / 5 Dec from CPT Airport Error keeps on coming up I called the number from the website , a person by the name of Imaad answered when he tries to book from his side , rental fee is much higher than the website I tried booking online from different devices , different days - still error pops up Imaad cant give me another customer service number Imaad cant give me email address to contact Imaad says number on thrifty website is for HERTZ Thrifty management should fix this error and improve their customer service Can some one please call me with a solution or book a car for me THank you

Today I was at the airport by 07:30am to pick up a car that I rented for the whole month, when I get there I did all the paperwork when I pay they said this is not a cheque card but a cheque account and they need a holding deposit of r16000.00 which I didn’t budget for I was expecting them to take about R3800.00 as per our agreement online. Am really so hurt now I have to cancel my booking and request a full refund. Am frustrated and late for work now I have to use uber the whole month, to & from work. I

If I was able to give this company 0 stars I would. They are absolutely horrible with useless customer service. I have been waiting for my refund for 5 years now. They don't respond to emails and when I call I am sent from post to pillar. What a **** of a company. Do yourself and favour and DO NOT rent a car with them. Absolutely pathetic!

NOW SANI CAR RENTAL. Appaling service. I returned a car more than a month ago in perfect condition & have not yet had my deposit back. I have sent several emails but on received a response to one, blaming their 'system' of course. I have used many car rental companies & this is by far the worst. *********, ************* & downright *****. ĎONT USE THEM

We are battling for one month to get our money back from this company working together with Britz and Maui 4x4 Rentals. Liezel made us pay in full for the incorrect vehicle and now we dont get our money back to pay for another rental 4x4 to go on our holiday to Botswana. They have empty promises everyday. They waiting for accounts dept.

On 19 December 2023 my car was taken in to Renualt Ontdekkers for repairs. To date I have not gotten my car back. I have attended to R20 000 payment and they still have not sourced the parts. It’s a huge inconvenience for me being without a vehicle for more than 6 weeks as I have been using Uber to get around which is very costly. Each time I call the dealership I’m told different stories. I need this matter sorted out ASAP or give me a vehicle to use in the interim.
