Thanks to the house-keeping team, front office desk and management. Our team stayed over the Sunday 28/09 and left the Monday morning 29/09. I somehow lost my purse and they notified my leader that my purse was found in one of the rooms. My leader's bday cake was also kept for us in their fridge as we had a company event to attend the Monday. I usually don't travel with the amount of money that was in my purse but I was very delighted to find all money accounted for in my purse. Thank you so much for the honesty, reliability and friendliness shown to us. All the best to the team and hotel.

I was a guest at Dolphin Beach Hotel last week. My versace glasses were ****** from my room. I went to the beach in the morning had my glasses in my hand and went back to the room. We went out later that day which was on Sunday, came in the evening. Monday was check out day thats when i discovered my sunglasses were missing. I reported the matter and even requested a footage to make sure i went in with the sunglasses after the beach. Security checked the footage and confirmed i went in the sunglasses. Customer service communication is the pits, they sent an email yesterday after i called only to be told staff is clear, i can open a case🙄that time am in Joburg now. Who in their staff will confess that they have ****** the sunglasses, sunglasses dont have legs and didn't walk out the room. Unhappy customer

<p>My sister recently had a business trip to Cape Town and booked into the hotel with her company. On the Saturday she worked most of the day and only returned to her room later that evening to discover that her room had been broken into and all her belongings were stolen. She was left with a shampoo, dirty clothes worn the day before and no money. Her suitcase which was locked was broken open and everything stolen. They stole her watch, necklace, earrings, GHD hairstraightener, an enitre bag of clothes, two handbags, cosmetics, perfumes, shoes and work equipment. When she apporoached management she was dismissed and completely disrespected and told it was her fault for not locking her personals away.....understandably yes she should have locked few things in the safe but how on earth does this hotel expect visitors to lock up an entire wardrope in a tiny safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her room was locked all windows closed and all possessions locked in her suitcase when she left yet on her return windows were open and the latch on the door was locked and suitcase broken open. This is not the first complaint about the hotel and theft, and definitely lends itself to being an inside job. The hotel have said there is nothing more they can do and told my sister to calm down!!!!! Calm Down are they crazy she flew home in dirty clothes with no money and a dead cell as they stole her charger. Now if this was a normal robbery why not take the kettle in the room, why not take the TV or the bedding or even the pots and pans. this will not be left here and Carte Blanche have been contacted along with a few other visiotrs that have stayed in this hotel. seems to be a patetrn that they steal from their clients, not return deposits paid and scream and swear at clients. Utterly disgusting and definitely not the place to stay. We live in a country where our safety is already tested and you think you stay in a nice hotel only to have everything taken from you and then laughed at!!!!! They should be fired and given a lesson in manners, respect and proper service. Shame on you guys, attitude is shocking. Management is worse than a horses backside at this hotel!!!!</p>

<p>My husbands IPAD and daughers SHOX speakers and Skullcandy headphones stolen from their room while they were at SEvens rugby... still waiting for a reply from the hotel :(</p> <p>They seem to have a LOT of this happening ... dont stay there its not worth the aggrevation</p> <p> </p>

We experienced a terrible stay at your hotel. For a hotel that charges R2000/night it honestly wasn't worth a cent. What you're paying for is just a view of table mountain. The staff were terrible and extremely unhelpful when our stay took an unfortunate turn of events. Our room got broken into while we were still INSIDE OF THE ROOM!! I was in the shower and my friend was asleep, which makes us think it was an inside job. Our window got left open by who we assume was the cleaning staff, only to have the thieves watch us and come in when the opportunity proved right. We took it up with management, but we still haven't heard a single thing about the situation. We asked if we would be compensated, but not a single thing got brought up. We are highly disappointed with how your hotel handled the situation. <br> <br> Our rooms were disgusting. The carpets are thread bare, the pillows are terribly uncomfortable and they used home-made foam. The bathroom has mould in it and it never got cleaned (we used a wrapper in the bathroom, and the wrapper was still there the next day).
