. I did a layby for over 6 months on two single beds and a lounge suite. I made the final payment a few days ago. Firstly they couldn't tell me when delivery could take place and then promised to get back to me but never did. Then they started ignoring my phone calls and WhatsApps. My wife and I even went to their store and they made us wait for over a half an hour . Still could not supply us with a decent answer.
Please see WhatsApp I received from the store eventually after I had to follow up myself again with them: Good day so no one has The couch because it's discontinued but the warehouse is still making One for you and we also did place an order For The bed you'll get it some time next week.
That is the WhatsApp message. I got hold of the operations manager, Anton. After I complained and argued with him. I had to follow up again with him after 2 hours. He had the following to say to me:
He is happy to refund me Why am I buying at Double Click Furniture if I am complaining He took his staff's word over mine by saying that the sales lady asked if she could order the items (hence my payment was not finished yet). This is a lie as nothing had been communicated to me. When I told him that I will inform the public on Facebook regarding the above situation, he said he will make sure to block me. (Already this rings bells that he is afraid of the public knowing the truth) He has no customer experience He tries to blame you as a customer for choosing apparently a material for the lounge suit , yet it is the exact same one they had on display in their store I would like to speak to his superior but he claims he is the superior
Awesome furniture but honestly a bad experience with Anton and some of his staff.
