I had the privilege of being placed under the care of Dr. E. J. Pretorius after being rushed to the ER at Rondebosch Medical Clinic at 1am on Monday morning. Without even knowing me as a patient, he admitted me immediately and saw me first thing during his ward rounds. The ER doctor on call, who was also excellent, worked under his guidance until Dr. Pretorius personally attended to me. From the very first moment, his actions were decisive, compassionate, and life-saving.
Dr. Pretorius treats his patients with extraordinary love, kindness, and genuine care. He always enters the room with a warm smile that brings comfort even in the most difficult moments. He listens attentively, takes his time with each patient, and refuses to rest until he uncovers the root cause of the problem. His dedication goes far beyond routine care — he continually investigates, researches, and reassures, making sure you feel both safe and confident that you are in the best possible hands.
