Poor customer service

It is unfortunate that I had to rate him a 1 star to be able to write this review, otherwise it would have been a zero for him. What a great privilege it is for Dr Hoosen C Peer Practice Number 1435086, at Protea Medical Centre. When we were there, we were told he does not accept Essential Employee Benefits (medical aid), even though these are dire times. Not all of us can afford to pay cash or other medical aids. What is more conflicting is that our medical aid recommended him as he is on the National Network of doctors. The thing is, we had to call the practice prior as per Essentials ascribed us to make an appointment and they suggested us to come in before 11:00am and asked us if we are on medical aid and we confirmed that we are. Next time they should probe what medical aid we are on, to avoid disappointing a client. If they asked us what medical aid we are on, and they told us they don't accept it, then we would have moved swiftly along and looked for another doctor. Now we had to make another appointment for our two kids elsewhere. What a total waste of time, where we could have seen another doctor.
