Tardiness - lack of professionalism

Review of Dr. Marc Röscher – Knysna

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Marc Röscher, but my experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unimpressed.

Upon arrival, the receptionist was chewing food while assisting me, which did not create a professional first impression. The waiting area floor was visibly dirty—not just from windblown debris. When I inquired about it and expressed my concern, I received no reassuring response.

Dr. Röscher then entered the reception area, and unfortunately, his personal presentation did not set an example of health and professionalism for his patients.

Inside the consulting rooms, I observed what appeared to be lapses in clinical hygiene and professionalism. The door to one of the rooms was left ajar, and I could clearly see a patient lying on the bed, partially uncovered in an undignified manner. This lack of privacy and discretion was concerning.

At this point, I decided to trust my instincts and left before the consultation even began. Looking at reviews from other patients across various platforms, it seems I may have dodged a bullet.

Professionalism, cleanliness, and patient dignity are non-negotiable in medical care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.
