Dr Deshini Packirisamy Killed my baby!
I was admitted to hospital with Gastro symptoms in August 2025. I could not keep any food or drink in my body for 5 days. She did not treat me until 3 days after I was admitted, where she got a gastroenterologist involved. She was extremely rude and condescending when I had questions and concerns about my unborn baby. She blew me off and told me it wouldn’t affect my baby at all. The gastroenterologist that was brought in to treat me was absolutely amazing and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I was treated and left the hospital. My 28-week appointment was the following week after I was discharged. Because I was extremely uncomfortable and upset with the way Dr Packirisamy treated me in hospital, I went to a different Dr. This Dr found that my baby was extremely underweight with limited blood flow. I was again admitted to hospital to try and save my baby’s life. Unfortunately, this was unsuccessful and she subsequently died a few days later. Dr Packirisamy is extremely rude and has zero bedside manor or care for you or your baby/pregnancy.

Just want to say Thank🙏🏼you to Dr Deshni Packirisamy. I am ever grateful 🙏🏼to you! I went 4 a 2nd opinion.Deshni is very soft & gentle she explained it all to me nicely, showed me in the book...drew a pic & made me understand my procedure. I saw her again before my procedure & she explained it all 2 me. Procedure day was there, met her great team in the theatre. All went well. Dr saw me on Sunday explained the procedure took longer than expected but all went well. On Monday Dr came saw me & later the afternoon I was discharged. Dr msg me on Tuesday to see how I was feeling. I would highly recommend Dr Packirisamy😊anytime! I feel like a new person with better quality of life! To Collete & the nursing staff at maternity ward@Wilgehuewel hospital, Thank you! Thanks Deshni🩷

Receptionist is EXTREMELY RUDE
My sister in law HIGHLY recommended Dr Packirisamy to me and said she is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately my fertility journey started with IVF and thus, my Fertility specialist has been seeing me since 6 weeks and monitoring my progress. Yesterday I saw my fertility specialist for the last time and he has now handed me over to a gynaecologist of my choice. Excitedly I phoned Dr Packirisamy's rooms this morning to make my next appointment. THE RECEPTIONIST is INCREDIBLY rude and says to me - Oh well she should have seen me at 8 weeks and I have missed important blood work that should have happened at 10 weeks already and that I am supposed to see Dr Packirisamy before 12 weeks as I need to see a sonographer at 12 weeks. I eventually tell her that I just want an appointment and I will discuss it with the doctor. She says to me Dr can see me 3 Dec (THIS MEANS THAT I AM FURTHER ALONG THAN 12 WEEKS SO I MISS THIS "IMPORTANT 12 WEEK SCAN" THAT MUST HAPPEN). When I inform her how can I see the doctor AFTER this so called important 12 week scan - she tells me Doctor is going away. So she can't help that. She is so rude, she doesn't give you a chance to speak - I literally had to ask her to give me a chance to speak. Unfortunately all the Google reviews for Dr shares the same concern regarding the receptionist which is a shame because I KNOW how great Dr Packirisamy is. VERY UNFORTUNATE.

Dr pathetic and useless and inhuman
For what you have done to my fiance I have no words!!! Your practice is the most pathetic I have ever come across. The most unhuman treatment that has ever been given. No ****s given. They treat you like **** worse than that even. No compassion towards the situation of the person. No professionalism. These people don't deserve to be treating people and they should be banned from practicing. They give no information and just perform procedures that they want to and not what the patients asks for and then does more damage than anything else!!! They have no people skills what's so ever and Collette needs a lessons in manners!!! This is a pathetic excuse for a practice and they need to be shut down!!!
