PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS DR
Worst experience of my life. Took my son to him for his Epilepsy that was diagnosed with an EEG and confirmed by 2 previous Neurologist that treated my son. He was so rude, he does not greet you or introduce himself to you. Just immediately started asking questions and then disagreeing with the signs and symptoms. He told us that there is no such thing as Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and that you do not diagnose Epilepsy with an EEG. The only way that you can diagnose Epilepsy is by symptoms that they experience, during an Epileptic episode, and my son does not fall in that "box". He also told us that there is no such thing as sinus headache, Hypertension does not cause headache and neck spasms also does not cause headaches......I did not agree with him as I have medical background. I then asked him why did the previous 2 Neurologist confirm his diagnoses? Whereby he said that they don't know anything of Epilepsy. I also asked him why did my sons epilepsy get better since he was started on medication. He could not answer that question. He then told me that it is because I want my child to have Epilepsy. What the hell.....which parent would want their child to be sick... and on Chronic medication. He even queried my sons Haemophilia that he was diagnosed with when he was a baby, with extensive blood tests that was done to confirm his diagnosis. As we were about to leave he made the comment that he was in the top of his class when he studied and he knows everything about epilepsy, and to get an epilepsy diagnosis from him you need to work hard for it. I was stunned by his remarks. I understand now after yesterday why I could get an appointment so quick with him. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MEDICAL AID AND MONEY ON THIS QUACK OF A PERSON. HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING...

Dr Pieter H Kritzinger, a neurologist in Pretoria, dereliction of Hippocratic Oath
Dr Kritzinger recently diagnosed my brother with a serious genetic disorder in Pretoria. I called Dr Kritzinger to find out about the genetic ramifications and to get advice on what I should do, especially since I live in Cape Town. But his receptionist insisted that he can't speak to me telephonically or give me any guidance as to what I should do, unless I open a file with him in Pretoria. All I need is a five-minute conversation to get advice, but Dr Kritzinger refuses to do that. Is that not a dereliction of his Hippocratic Oath? All I was asking for, is some clarity on my brother's disease, and what steps I have to take. Yet he refuses.
