Traumatizing - No Empathy "Just Googled it" Dr. Wypkema

Imagine going to a Gyni excited to remove your UID because you and your husband are excited to start your own little family...Should be an exciting time. Apart from having to wait almost an hour for the Dr Wypkema to see me, she casually informs me that I have PCOS and then leaves the room.... after getting dressed I asked her whether it was good or bad as I genuinely didnt know what it is. She told me to google the acronym which would give me all the information I needed. Imagine that?!?!

I am left traumatised with no real direction as to what to do about the situation... R2000 for what?? No support, no explanation. My only option now is to get a second opinion and hopefully this time with a doctor that actually cares enough about their patient and is able to show some empathy.
