PLUMBERS MADE MESS NEW GEYSER INSTALLATION

Deivan Rust Maintenance (DRM) Projects - from Zambesi Country Estates in MONTANA - installed my new 200-litre Kwikot geyser on 24 September 2021. In the end: 1. They damaged the new element, resulting in Kwikot voiding the warranty. DRM did not replace the element. 2. DRM burned the new thermostat - requiring another new thermostat, but this resulted in Kwikot voiding the warranty also on this component. 3. Installed the components with a loose connection with the result that the one electric cable turned black due to heat, resulting in a fire danger to our house. 4. DRM did NOT not provide me with a Certificate of Compliance (as required SANS10254) to confirm installation in line with the SANS standard. This means I have no real warranty on the new geyser.

To date DRM ignored all my e-mails (they were only quick to respond when they installed the new geyser) - and I would very strongly recommend that you stay very far away from these plumbers.
