The worst T Bone and burger we had ever. Tasteless. The web advertise they close at 10pm. We arrive at 18.45 and got told the kitchen closes at 19H00. They had to fetch a sauce from our table because it seems a stick issue and when we asked for coffee there was a problem with the machine. We received the bill with no sweets. Staff were friendly but really nothing like the Dros food years ago. It seems more a bar. They won't see us again. Terrible

Felt like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The burger meat was tough as hell, we were told there is no tomato sauce available (or any sauce for that matter) - because the manager/owner does not want to order new stock as a new restaurant manager/owner is inbound. To put a cherry on top, the waiter - that by the way covers up to 20+ tables on his own, told us that NONE OF THE TIPS go to waiters and that the restaurant keeps all tips. When employees ask for their tips, they are told they would be paid “tomorrow”. Absolute **** place, Sincerely.

They never have food or alcohol, always out of stock, they dont pay their staff (waiters) and tips given by patrons are not being paid to the waiters. Will be taking this to the newspapers. I dont blame the manager and waiters for not wanting to serve people as they are ashamed to say "we dont have cheese or chips or alcohol". Who runs a restaurant like that...Come now Dros New Redruth Alberton pay your staff their tips and basic salaries!!!!!!!!

They never have food or alcohol, always out of stock, they dont pay their staff (waiters) and tips given by patrons are not being paid to the waiters. Will be taking this to the newspapers. I dont blame the manager and waiters for not wanting to serve people as they are ashamed to say "we dont have cheese or chips or alcohol". My family and I went to there on Saturday 10-05-2025 to have lunch. Firstly there were almost no drinks available from the bar. Simply told they are finished. No draught beer ,little to no wine selection. We then wanted to order the food, keen on the specials advertised on the table only to be told that all the specials are finished.then as we went through the menu to see what we can order, to be told that almost all the menu items are out of stock. We ordered what we can , then when the food came, although delicious, it was wrong and not what we ordered. also the waiter just stands at reception while our table lacked attention and empty plates stood for ages and we had to beg for service to get another drink.Then when the bill came there was a mistake on the bill making us pay more money for one meal than what was advertised on the menu. Effectively payed more for less food. We then tried to call the manager after we left to voice our complaint, only to be spoken to in the most rude and unprofessional manor by manager, then she pretended that the phone line went bad and that she could not hear us. conveniently it was when we started to voice our complaints. This place is a joke, The management is absolutely rude and non caring (got told by our waitress that when the staff go to voice a customers complaint to the managers they tell them that they do not care) and the entire experience was utterly disappointing. would not recommend this place to anybody. Wont be going back,

Pathetic does not even begin to describe their food and service. WWe bought their ribs with a side of chips as a take away. While seated waiting for our meal we saw rats running around their kitchen and the dinning area on the left from the entrance. Firstly, the order was completed within 8mins, which was suspicious. Then when we eventually had the food, the chips were stale as if they were from the previous day, the ribs were hard and they were not flame grilled, the onion rings were sour like they were left out to rot. We decided to drive back there to lodge a complaint it was not even 15mins after getting the food. The manager told the waiter to tell us that there is nothing they can do about it and we should leave their restuarant. They did not bother to look at the food or even apologize for the service and quality of food. They just told us to take our food and leave. This makes us believe that we were treated like this because of our ethnicity. I am honestly appalled by their service and their treatment towards us. And we will be making a post on social media about their treatment.

In April they had a very good burger special running on Thursdays. On the 25th of April (Thursday) me and my husband went for the burger special, because the special was only running until end of April. When we wanted to order, we were informed that the special was not on that day, only in the next month again. So we left, and 2 other couples sitting accross from us had exactly the same experience. Now they have the same special running in July but on Tuesdays. The add clearly states for sit down only and not for take away, which is fine. So me and my husband went on 16 July 2024 (Tuesday), we sat down, ordered the special and had a drink. I could not finish my burger, so I asked the waiter for a packet for my leftovers and he said he is not allowed. I asked for the manager and he said the same. So I gave the arguement that I did not came in and order to take home, I merely couldnt finish my meal. Now they want me to pay but I am not allowed to take the leftover home. Their response was they would throw the leftover food to the meerkats. I feel this is very unprofessional. And dont get me wrong, the food was outstanding and the service was very nice and friendly. I just do not agree how they went about with the 'left over' situation.

I was totally disappointed and dissatisfied with the poor service from Dros New Redruth. I went there today 11 June 2023 to order take away for the afternoon. My order was precise Calamari+chips, Eisban and veggies. To my dismay when my take away order arrived the Calamari was not to our satisfaction. It was raw (inedible and rubbery) and was a starter portion instead of main portion. I then went to ask for the manager to address the issue of the Calamari, but the waiters were not showing any sense of urgency. Upon arrival of the Manager (JP) he showed no remorse to my complaint and assumed that I already ate half of the takeaway when I had just collected. I then asked for my refund for the Calamari as it was not to my standards. The manager JP refused and bluntly told me to bring IT ON!. I am so livid with the poor service and will not recommend anyone to dine or eat at this place.

They have a wide variety of menu love there pizza.... They offer value for money especially with there specials. But also offer privacy without having there guests all bundle up. Additional the staff are respectful
