Just to let you know. This company does NOT: 1. Answer their phones 2. Reply to their e-mails 3. Callback as promised. Do not expect any level of service from them nor their employees.

we purchased a gcom520 gate controller from them, but since the start, the device did not work as it was supposed to. every 3 days it does not work, then we have to reset the device, which is not how it is supposed to work. we had another unit before this one, which unfortunately broke, but the previous one worked ALL the time, with no need for any reset. I have contacted the company several times, but they refuse to replace the unit, as they want us to bring the unit in, so they can test it on-site, and only there-after are they willing to replace it should they not find a fix. we are not able to have the device removed, as we require access control to this building. the reason why we installed the unit in the 1st place was due to vandalism, and to fix up the damages, cost us almost R100 000, and we are not prepared to go this route again. we have explained this to them, but they are unwilling to come up with an alternative solution from their standard warranty policies. we just want a replacement unit, to make sure the building is not accessible by unwanted parties, who might vandalize the premises again.

Some months ago I did a review I have to apologize for after investing I found that these gate motors was more than 6 years in service without any maintenance. After accessing and wear and tear repairs I now a very happy customer with months of not one problem and the operating speed is unbelievable. By invite to their very well equipped workshop where all most every part are manufactured in-house by the best machines spares are of international quality overlook by Linton Smidt thanks for a great product. <p>It's not often that one can sing the praises of a company's service these days, but credit where it's due! I purchased a new DTS security gate motor around a month ago, installed it on Saturday past and was having issues with its operation. I phoned DTS on Monday and spoke to Rudi who suggested that I phone him back when I am at home with the motor. I phoned him this morning, after several days of having to manually open and close the gate. Over the phone, Rudi managed to talk me through a series of actions and within 5 minutes the gate motor was operating perfectly. All credit to Rudi - not only for offering super service by taking the time to speak to me and give me precise guidance on what to do (I am by no means a technician), but for knowing his product so well that he could, over the phone, describe exactly what I was looking for on the motor's PC board.</p> <p>This is the kind of service all companies should strive for! Well done DTS and well done Rudi! Thanks for the help!</p>
