i purchased a motorbike from Ducati SA in Pretoria on the 29th june 2020 MV Agusta F3 the used motor bike was delivered th 9th of July 2020 some of the paperwork was sent by courier registration documents at least im still waiting for owners manual and the workshop manual and have not recieved the roadworthy certificate it wasn't done and is not on the system. there was no predelivery inspection no predelivery sevice the gears wouldn't work properly they did arrange for a service at the workshop near my home and the initial problems were greatly improved i then ran into difficulties because we needed the manuals to check the settings for the bike which wasn't done due to the lack of pre delivery inspection and the workshop wasn't ask by Ducati to restore the settings to default factory settings. so now the bike is working better but we have no idea of the setting which seemed to be customised after a reasonable test the throttle became eratic and the bike ran off on a mission of its own which caused injury to the rider and some damage to the bike. i did unform Ducati and said it would have been helpful if they had fulfilled their side of the business and supplied me with the manuals as reuested as part of the deal also that they hadn't fulfilled the required roadworthy certificate for me which of course cannot be done now because of the damages. i did receive a response from the general manager who believes that everything is fine . i dont usually do this sort of thing and post a comment like this but i am perplexed as to what Ducati SA believes is a proper transaction all i got was the registration documents i go nothing else and still waiting for the rest of the books and roadworthy . Oh yes i did get a complete lack of interest i still dont know what the settings are or infact how to reset
