I asked Dupla Printing for a quote for screen printing on cloth which I explicitly said I would provide. They gave me the quote for the sizes after which I went to their shop with a sample of the cloth to confirm if they can indeed print on that cloth. I did this before I went to buy the cloth to avoid buying and cutting up the cloth that I later could not use.
Dupla later let me know that they can’t print the sizes on the cloth they put on the quote. This after I bought the cloth R1680. They are offering me a refund on the Quote, but what about my expenses for the cloth that I now cannot use?
I phoned the owner Abie and asked if he is also going to give me my money back for the cloth. He put down the phone in my ear!
Dupla printing made a mistake which ended up costing me money! The right thing to do is to take responsibility by compensating me for my expenses.
The owner could have offered to meet me in person to negotiate the situation. Instead, he put down the phone in my ear!
This is unprofessional and rude behaviour!
I expect full compensation for my expenses.
