An advisory against Duracell batteries
An advisory against Duracell batteries. Anyone wanting to use a good quality battery, DO NOT USE THE DURACELL! They ate expensive and notoriously bad for leaking. I have had much equipment damaged bu leaking Duracell batteries. Rather use Panasonis, Varta, Energiser, Maxell and Sony. They are vastly better. From Godwin. 0725201212

An advisory against Duracell batteries. Anyone wanting to use a good quality battery, DO NOT USE THE DURACELL! They ate expensive and notoriously bad for leaking. Poor Battery Quality, No trust in Power.
Duracell car battery is off the poorest quality. They done have the strong claim that they last longer than any other brand. A total failure with their huge claim that drives their business. I have put 2 extremely expensive ones in just over 6years and each one perished after exactly 32 months, with their 30 month warranty. Other batteries have a 24 months warranty but last up to 5yeara or more. Duracell in my opinion should discontinue with car batteries as they will damage their flagship claims that they last longer than any other competitors. I have contacted their Customer Care via email and was told to go to Tiger Wheel and sort it out, which I have done before I contacted them. Closed the query. I will greatly appreciate if they can investigate the query and confirm that their batteries have a 30 month exact lifespan so the public can decide if paying that premium price is worth it. My vehicle registration is HN 75 LY GP.

Great
In 2018 my husband bought AAA and AA rechargeable batteries along with the charger from Duracell. We use them for a sleeping aid for our daughter every night and it runs for 8 hours per night. We need to exchange the batteries after a week or so. In a time where things are only made to last a short while we are thankful for a product that has lasted more than 6 years.

Advertising Untruths. + 50% extra Life on DURACELL
Whilst not directly responsible for trapped Containers whether in the Suez canal "Evergreen" or ships stuck in Shanghai, the producers and marketeers of these home energy sources for many of our gadgets, do bare responsibility for faulty aged inventory sitting on pegs at our local stores waiting for elderly consumers to be paying Full Price R35 - R45 per battery of these circular shiny Litium batteries type C2032. When fitted into a brand new Bathroom scale they lasted between 6 & 14 days ONLY. Now that is pretty expensive and unacceptable! I returned the scale twice an then found one that so far is in its 23rd day of successful operation!

It used to be the best... We bought a packet of 4x AA batteries at Checkers in Nylstroom a few weeks ago. Only 2x were fully charged... the other 2x were practically dead... We pay such a damn high price, and then it doesn't even work properly... you're standards have really fallen... I'm disappointed... I rather use Energizer then, thank you very much (Faulty batch number: 02608634PO - 03/2029)
