Durbanville Traffic & Municipality - Costing Drivers a Fortune

This country's laws are absolutely ridiculous! Take the traffic department for example. They FAILED to send us our yearly registration renewal forms for our vehicles which we normally receive every year, fill out and renew. This year they did not and when we realised our registrations had expired in April, it was too late. I mean, who keeps a watchful eye out on the disc to see when it expires with everyone's extremely busy lives. They want our money, but they don't fulfil their side. We had to pay almost R700 for a R300 registration renewal. RIDICULOUS!!

The way SA citizens get treated when it comes to these type of things are so unfair, but you can't do anything about it, because the government is so corrupt.

In my opinion they don't send out all renewals on purpose so that they can catch unsuspecting people off guard who then have to pay insane penalties which were preventable in the first place if the traffic/municipality just sent out the renewal forms as they're supposed to. Isn't that what our taxes are paying their salaries for???
