I had a premature baby last week at Durdoc hospital and he laned up in Nicu.. The attitude of the nurses was terrible from the first day, no one came to inform me about my baby's condition cause I had a csection and couldn't walk to the Nicu unit to see him.On the second night of my stay one of the staff members callede to the side and reprimanded about touching him she said my touching stimulates him and gives him breathing problems there was no compassion and understanding shown. On the 5 th day baby's fluids were incorrectly administered for over 12 hours which could have the baby to greater complications.. The thing that really drove me nuts is when I was denied the opportunity to breastfeed my baby because they said his jaundice levels were high all in all their level of care is terrible. Their attitude is even worse. Even when I phone to check on my child they respond like unprofessionals.. I really wish to know what I can do so that no one else experiences what I'm going through .
