I took in my car for a regular service and received my car back on Thursday 20 April 2023 afternoon. I am cleaning the interior of my vehicle, Saturday 22 April, I see that my original VW mats have been replaced with a completely different model of old and smaller mats. I have 4 sets of paired mats and all of the underneath mats have been replaced by some other cars mats. Very bad service provided by VW Sasolburg (Dutton Motors). Obviously it's the weekend now and I can only call and let them know about it on Monday but unfortunately they will most definitely say there is nothing they can do. Because how on earth do you even find the car they put it in but it's really sad to see them replace my original highline VW mats with something so much smaller and worse of. Please be on the look out when allowing dealerships to wash your vehicle. This is not the first instance having issues with this dealership, previously it was a crack on my windscreen which they denied and did nothing about, I can only imagine what they would say for something such as replacing original VW high end spec'd mats. My car does not feel and look the same now that I know (eventhough I have plastic mats covering the ****ty bottom mats they replaced, you can still see they are not the correct fit and are so much smaller, looks like they took it out of a 2000s Golf 1. Never ever going back to this dealership even if it would mean me traveling to Johannesburg.
