The rating of four stars is for most of their foods. But I’m writing this to complain about their pizza for the umpteenth time. I’ve given a review by calling in the store, sending a DM getting a reply and completely being ignored about my complaint. I brought pizza again today and I’m disappointed at how dry, it is. It’s like it’s been sitting for days or all day and the original customer never picked it up and they decided to sell that to me. Seriously though can you please stop making dry pizza. I’m also speaking as a customer who eats in the restaurant too, it’s dry there as well. Please I’m begging this time

On Friday 29 November 2024 I went to eastern food bezaar. I ordered A bunny chow, because that was one of my favourites that I normally buy when I go there. Eastern bezaar your quality of that bunny chow was very poor. It tasted like burnt gravy, the meat was not soft, it was tie and difficult to chew. The bread was like it was made wet with water on the one side. The cole slaw slaai did taste like it was dipped under someones salty arm puts. It was moisty like it was expired. I was really lis for your food and just to get dissapointed like that. My money went to waste.

I have witnessed the worse customer service I've ever seen. I am absoutely horrified and appalled to see a member of staff threaten a customer, swear multiple times at a customer, threatened to beat up a customer and refused to serve a customer. I witnessed an abhorrent encounter between one of the employees named Mariam and a customer. The employee Mariam asked the customer whether she was standing there for long with an attitude after speaking to her colleague, which I'm assuming he told her to serve the customers that were standing at the counter. The customer responded to the employee's question the same way she was spoken to and that made the employee upset which caused things to escalate. The customer had to go and fetch management more than once as they failed to de-escalate the situation and when the manager asked the employee to leave the counter she blantantly refused a direct order. The employee had zero respect for her superior or the other customers including children, openly called the customer a b*tch when she left to go fetch a manager and swearing at the customer multiple times by saying "tsek" and giving her direct dirty looks. The employees threatened to smack the customer and even threatened the customer infront of her superior that was trying to de-escalate the situation. The other employees at the pizza counter tried to calm Mariam down and told her to do the customer's pizza but she crossed her arms and refused to do it. The employee told the customer infront of the other customers that she will not serve her, gave the customer's receipt back and told her to go and fetch her refund because she will not serve her. It is absolutely disgusting for a member of staff to treat a customer the way that the employee did as that situation could have been dealt with in a different manner, if management cannot control their employees to ensure they conduct themselves professionally then Eastern Food Bazaar is not a place that I will continue to support.

So disappointed with the quality of the food and the taste of it, their tikka chicken, biryani and other foods like shwarmas dont taste like the way they supposed to, brought a chicken shwarma today and I feel like I wasted my money on bad tasting food, we sit in but our food was ice cold when we got them, the shwarma was super oily and extremely salty. I will never ever go back there nor recommend this place to anyone. they are very expensive but offer poor quality food. also brought their yellow yogurt which tasted very sour. their staff is rude when you want to complain. Eastern bazaar I am disappointed. before you used to have original Indian chefs making Indian cuisine and today not even 1 . the quality of the food was zero today. my shwarma and biryani money down the drain

Have not been there in a long time, and today we were in Sea Point and opted for Eastern Food Bazaar food. I took Chicken Briyani, while I was waiting to be assisted, I saw the Chicken Breyani "dish" was almost empty. There was a girl infront of me, and who also wanted Chicken Breyani, and the "server", told her to wait. He then came to me took my slip and went ahead to dish mine. There was only 1 Dumstick in, and a small dry piece, I assume it is from the Breast part and a whole lot of rice. I did not want to make a scene as there was alot of people waiting to be assisted. Please ask your servers to check how much food is left in the dishes before dishing other peoples food. If I had gone to Checkers or PnP, i could of bought a mix piece of raw chicken for R60.00,and made my own Breyani at home. There was also NO potatoes given. I asked the server to give my slip back,in order for me to take a pic,as I am going to write a complaint. He asked if there was an issue,i said yes, and he just looked the other way.
