We have been customers for decades, loving Quickbooks Desktop and recommending it to all who would listen. Now we have reached our last straw and will be moving to Pastel.
We have always used desktop. Our business is growing and we need to add a new user. After extreme difficulty being sent from one department to another, we are simply told that no desktop licenses are sold anymore. No conversation to find an option or solution, but rather a brush-off: you either go online or go bust.
We tried again by contacting the UK support (on EasyBiz's recommendation). Same reaction.
Then we went online as per their insistence, although our business doesn't actually allow for online, often working in remote areas where we have no connectivity, but it seemed it was our only option. Online we struggled with imports that are not importing the entire date range you selected, skipping certain transactions and ruining my trust in the credibility of the data. Then the first loadshedding came and we were stuck! We couldn't do anything, despite having a UPS for the internet router, due to extremely bad connectivity.
So we immediately stopped an looked (again) for another option.
Got two licenses from someone else, since neither Easybiz nor UK would sell us licenses. Contacted EasyBiz again to ask for help connecting the two in a multi-user setup. ZERO desktop support from easybiz and without letting me respond I am redirected to UK.
UK are willing to help, with a UK license. But I am being sent back to EasyBiz for help with the SA license with another shrug of the shoulders. When I say EasyBiz sent me to them, it is simply a "sorry, we can't help". I didn't even bother trying again with EasyBiz knowing how pointless my previous gazillion encounters with them were.
I have spent hours on the phone. Days on the computer researching, trying to chat to support and working, in vain, to find a solution.
Stay away. Stay very far away. Run, even.
You were great on Desktop, Quickbooks, but Online is killing you. RIP.
Best regards,
