ECO LIFE LANDSCAPES IS FRAUDULENT
I paid this comany to trim the hedges, level the ground and redo the paving, do landscaping and garden service. I was left with shoddy workmanship and half the work weren’t completed. He emailed me his T&C which cut outs the work that he chooses not to do. I won’t go into much detail but please watch out for him. He wants 70% payment upfront, receives the money and makes shortcuts. He then hold you to ransom, to say the client refuses to pay, client not giving access to property, etc, in other words he won’t return to fix or finish the work and threatened me with litigation. He wrote me he will rip me apart should I gosocial and he shoots a 375. He removes negative reviews from his website only to show positive reviews which I believe are mostly fabricated who knows. I have all the pictures, whatsapp evidence, etc. BIG RED FLAGS WATCH OUT PLEASE!

I received a quote From Craig Thurston in which he quoted me for the following : French Drain / Materials and Pipe (*20 bags of blue stone) - R1790 I know what a French drain is and I did not in fact get a French Drain - he put in a pipe underground and when I questioned him about the grate for the drain and catchment - he replied in an whatsapp " this is a french drain and no drain or grate was stipulated on the quotation. How was I to know to stipulate this - I WANTED A FRENCH DRAIN AND that is what a french drain is. In another quote for plant scapes he quoted me as follows" High Pressure cleaning of all paving and cleaning stone. He had to clean I asked him to please clean the paving (small area) where he was putting the drain in. I told him I would pay for it but he was happy to do it for free. Plants - 20 crassula, 15 x spekbooms, 3 plumbago hedges and 2 swhite gaura shrubs. 60 mondo grasses. I got 2 x crassula, 15 cutting of spekboom, no plumbago hedges, 20 mondo grasses, and cutting of "wild Mint". This is not what I wanted. When asked about this he said that i had got more than enough of the other plants and i did not stipulate that i wanted plants in bags !!! After much deliberation he told me that the grate would cost nothing and that he would install the drain grate however, if I wanted more mondo grass (he only brought 20 not 60) he would have to charge me for them. email 20 October : he said "You need to make payment on the work completed and I will install the agri drain for free" email 21 October : he says : "discussed, we are still happy to install the mondo grass and a grate drain if needs be as the area will need it and we can get it at a good price also will not charge the labor as i can fit it in .Let me know. I also questioned him about the bags of stone and told him he only used 7. He agreed to deduct the 5 bags of stone but only once he was caught out about it. On the 13 November I asked him qhen he would be coming to install the the grate (at which time he had agreed to put it in with no charge) - Since Nov 13 up until now I have been asking him continuously to come and put the grate in. Yesterday I got a rude email saying he was not prepared to do any more "free" work at my property. I will never use this Man / Eco Life Landscapes ever again. I also referred him to my neighbour and she had a terrible experience with him as well. I emailed him today 17 Jan 2022 to tell him that the drain is not working and that my paving is caving in - no response.
