I am writing to formally report an appalling experience with Eco Signage Suppliers, Boksburg branch, and I demand urgent management intervention. I called ahead to confirm their Saturday closing time. Sameer, a sales representative, explicitly told me to arrive by 12:30 pm, stating the gate would be closed at that time. Relying on this information, I drove all the way from Vaal to Boksburg. I arrived at 12:29 pm, before the time I was instructed to be there, yet the gate was already closed. Sameer came out and informed me that the manager refused to assist me. When the manager finally appeared, he addressed me in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, saying he is “not running a McDonald’s” and that I should return on Monday.
This behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I was denied service despite following instructions, forced to waste time and fuel, and treated with outright contempt. No apology was offered, and no effort was made to take responsibility for misinformation provided by their own staff.
I demand that senior management intervene immediately to: Address the abusive and unprofessional behavior of the manager. Review and correct the misinformation being given to customers regarding operating hours during december.
Implement proper training to ensure staff demonstrate basic respect and professionalism. Provide a formal apology for the treatment I received and the time and costs I wasted. This experience demonstrates a complete failure in customer service and accountability. I will escalate this matter further if management does not respond promptly and appropriately. Eco Signage Suppliers boksburg must be held accountable for how they treat paying customers.
