I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my car hire booking with reference ZA915354930, which was paid for in full in advance. Upon arrival at the Hertz rental offices to collect the vehicle, I was informed that the car could not be released to me due to a credit score requirement. This requirement was never disclosed to me at the time of booking or before payment was taken. As a result of this failure to disclose critical rental conditions, I was left stranded with my children and without transportation. This caused significant inconvenience, stress, and disruption to our travel plans. I would like to make it clear that the service I paid for was not rendered, through no fault of my own. Had this requirement been communicated upfront, I would not have proceeded with the booking. I am therefore requesting a full refund of the amount paid. Please confirm the refund process and expected turnaround time as a matter of urgency. Should this matter not be resolved promptly, I will have no option but to escalate the issue further, including lodging a dispute with my bank and reporting the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities. AVOIT AT ALL COST! THEY CHARGE PEOPLE WHO DON'T EVEN USE THEM OR HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM, AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND THE MONEY. I booked a rental vehicle through them. upon collection i could not get the vehicle because my business cheque card was not accepted for the deposit by woodford. Woodford was unhelpful and referred me to the third party cartrawler. Cartrawler is so unprofessional you deal with them via whatsapp only. I requested for my booking to be transferred to another SP who's willing to assist me, Cartrawler said their system does not allow for it and they cannot do a refund. i was left woman alone in a foreign province stranded. This exact card is recognized as a credit card due to the type of chip it has. Just last month I have rented a vehicle from woodford in cape town with it and the deposit was held on the card, and what was left of it was released a few days later. when i told the woodford staff to check they responded by saying it shouldnt have happened. Everyone is nonchalont and edreams cars/cartrawler are just busy with ****gary. Everyone passes the buck because now cartrawler is saying they dont have control over woodford and woodford said they never received the money i should deal with cartrawler but they are all in partnership, surely my situation is not unique.

I prepaid for a car for a 7pm pickup at Dulles Airport for 3 day rental. I got there at 730 p.m., found between 20 and 30 people waiting, no cars available. Waited 2.5hrs still no car. This was prepaid, so my car should have been there. Called them and was on the phone for another 45 minutes. They told me they couldn't do anything but would book me with another car rental. They told me, the total cost for a new rental was $190. I got to a new car rental location and they only booked me for one day. The original booking was for 3 days. The total cost for booking the new car for 3 days is $394. $ 204 more than my prepaid. And now they are refusing to get me a refund for my original booking. I travel a lot and so rent cars all the time. This is my worst experience ever.

You are crinminal organization that should be shut down and CEO should end up in jail! You are selling to the people insurance, that cannot be claimed back, since you are using chat bots and having non existing customer service! So basically you are waiting for people to give up and stop trying to claim their refund. THIS IS CALLED THEFT AND PEOPLE WHO ***** FROM OTHER PEOPLE (in this case Edreams *****ing from their own customers) SHOULD FACE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES!!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!

I will never recommend this company not even to a fly for assistance they are horrible bunch they have no respect for their brand. They have left such a bad taste in my mouth nor wonder they only operate online it shows little they think of their clients they Flippin quoting their policy which they have no clue what speaks about. They are responding to me saying according to the policy we are not supposed to refund . I showed them the very policy and them to point out where does it say such ....dololo .guys use Edreams it's a waste of time and money especially when it comes to refunds. Useless.
