Went into the store on Wednesday to buy a 5 piece quilt set with seperate quilt conti pillow cases, a ****gy throw and two scatter cushions.
The 5 piece quilt was on special for R 267.99 and the cashier billed us for the original price of R349.99 as opposed to the sale/ markdown item.
Went into the store yesterday to query the price and the cashier that i showed the reciept related to my story and asked me to refer the matter to the older lady who checks the goods outside of the door before exiting.
Surprisingly enough, I told i was happy with the goods and dont want to exchange or return the items but would like to be refunded the overpaid amount of the sale item.
The lady flat out refused and said i should return the item so that they can check the goods. I have subsequently used the bedding and thrown out the black ribbons and opened all packaging. So this request was insane.
The invoice number that is on the reciept is INV004-254651 aand date of sale is 08 May 2024 at 11;49:28
We paid with our bank card and the lady i spoke to outside has failed me dismally.
I will think twice before going to buy from Edura as this was a simple scenario that only needed common sense. Instead I was told about the 5 piece quilt going back to its original price, yesterday.
Which has nothing to do with my query.
I honestly the cashier lady with the dreadlocks and that white lady are running some sort of scheme by overcharging us and fixing the system and keeping the money for themselves.
I am not impressed. I am based in Pretoria and was there on business and both those ladies have no Customer relations skills and cant even apply their common sense.
Best regards,
