I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service I have received from Eletracorp Bloemfontein - managed from their offices in Bethlehem. Hisense assigned them to repair my fridge, and it has now been over a week with zero progress. They have called me four times to date, but not once a technician have pitched. Every time I call, I am given empty promises and excuses. It’s clear they have no sense of accountability or urgency. The communication is non-existent, and the lack of professionalism is shocking. Now they tell that they only have one vehicle and have to wait another day before the technician will be able to attend to my problem. Eletrocorp has shown me that they cannot be trusted as a service provider. The customer is treated as an inconvenience rather than a priority. If Hisense continues using them as technicians, more customers will suffer the same frustrating and unacceptable experience. Absolutely would NOT recommend them to anyone. Completely unreliable and unprofessional.

Not only am I sitting without a washing machine for weeks, but their incompetence has forced me to pay for laundry services out of pocket—money I should never have needed to spend if they had simply done their job. Electracorp in Bloemfontein is an utterly deplorable company that has redefined incompetence and unprofessionalism in appliance repair. My experience with them regarding our dishwasher, which displayed an AE error, was a nightmare from start to finish. Adding to the frustration, their abysmal communication practices make it nearly impossible to get any resolution—you can try calling them at almost any time, and they either don’t answer or, if you miraculously get through, they promise to call back but almost never do. To make matters worse, their invoice boasts a 90-day guarantee, which is utterly worthless given their complete refusal to respond to our complaints. Initially, they confirmed they could repair the dishwasher and demanded an upfront inspection fee, which we paid. Their technician arrived, declared the issue was a faulty water pump, and provided a quote. We paid for the pump upfront as requested, only to be met with complete silence for two weeks. When we followed up, they casually mentioned the pump had arrived and scheduled a technician to install it. This technician showed up just before 17:00, only to inform us that the dishwasher needed to be taken to their workshop as the repair would take too long at our home. Why they didn’t know this beforehand or why they sent someone so late in the day is beyond comprehension. They collected the dishwasher, returned it, and after just two uses, the AE error reappeared. Worse, after the water pump was replaced, the dishwasher leaked, causing significant damage to our recently repaired wash-room cupboards. When we reported this, a new technician arrived and claimed we needed a float switch. This raised serious questions about the necessity of the water pump we had already paid for. Once again, they demanded upfront payment for the new part, which we reluctantly paid. Predictably, they provided no updates. When we inquired—after battling to get through on the phone—they admitted the part had arrived but was incorrect. We waited again, only to be told by yet another technician that the replacement part was also wrong. By this point, their gross incompetence was undeniable. Eventually, they took the dishwasher back to their workshop, claiming they needed to ensure it worked "100%." When they returned it, they had the audacity to inform us that they had damaged the door but promised a replacement. That same evening, we ran the dishwasher, only to wake up to a flooded kitchen the next morning. The machine had leaked again, further damaging our wash-room cupboards. The dishwasher was still broken, now with a damaged door to boot. Fed up, we demanded a full refund and told them to collect their useless machine, citing their so-called 90-day guarantee. Despite sending photos and all correspondence, and attempting to contact them repeatedly with no response, Electracorp has completely ignored us. The broken dishwasher, complete with its damaged door, remains in our home, a constant reminder of their appalling service. We’ve since purchased a new dishwasher from a reputable company, but the ordeal with Electracorp cost us time, money, significant damage to our property, and immense frustration. I have all receipts and correspondence to back up this horrific experience. Electracorp is a disgrace, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear. They are *************, unreliable, and utterly incapable of delivering on their promises—let alone honoring their meaningless 90-day guarantee. Save your money, your property, and your sanity—avoid this company at all costs.

My brand new Samsung washing machine was booked with Electracorp on 24 May 2025. After a week they sent out a technician which told me that it was the motherboard. A week later another technician pitched with a new board but the washing machine did not work. Another week later he replaced the digital front panel but it was still not working. Another week later they picked up my machine and took it to their workshop in Bloemfontein where it's been sitting for 2 weeks now. They don't call back when they promise to do so and I've been calling almost every day since the machine was taken to the workshop. These people are the most useless I've ever seen. Even their Bethlehem branch tried to help but without any luck. Bloemfontein cancel the call as soon as Bethlehem put me through.

These are the same games as the Defy Authorized Service Center Bloemfontein company who already has horrid reviews, I hate people who hide behind different names so scores do not effect each other, on that note, took them a week with a dishwasher to see one cable was giving an issue and each time I called they had a technician apparently working on it, but don't worry to fix the wires, which should fall under the assessment charge which they did not assess at our house, for fixing the wire is a LABOR charge of another R650 and we should pick up the machine, after explaining to them they are the business that removed the appliance and should deliver back to us, i got a sassy, we don't have a large enough vehicle this week, I will see IF the technician can drop it off...... EVERYTHING except Marius the original guy who came out, everything else was pathetic.
