We're a guest house/coffee shop currently under lockdown restrictions (not open for service) who came across Electro Service online and completed their fill-in form ito stove repairs. A seemingly polite enough technician arrived the next day, tweaked an oven hinge, and inspected a second oven which he explained would require parts still to be costed. However, after he left, I noticed that the technician gave our business a Google review of 3 out of 5 (with no written review added), even though he had not made use of any of our services. This was dragging down our perfect 5 out of 5 Google review track-record. I called Electro Service's landline to get to the bottom of this, but my concerns were dismissed with a 'we have no control over what our technicians do'. I then messaged the technician directly ito this, and he apologised profusely and explained that it must have been a pocket-dial error. I believed him and accepted his apology. However, I'm still unimpressed with the attitude of Electro Service (Centre) and it came as no surprise when I found so many scathing reviews on them. In addition to this, they did not explain to me that the technician they sent me was an independent contractor, and not in their employ. Poor communication s****s and information sharing on their part.
