Had an alarm, immobiliser and central locking fitted to my car last year in January. They have been out to fix it or had me take it to them while I sit and wait for the repairs that last a couple of months, four times in this past year. The second time they replaced it by a used one and did not even respond to my email in which I complained about this fact. The response each time was very formal to exceptionally cold and agressive and not once did they actually admit to poor workmanship. Yet the system continues failing every couple of months. Last month I took my car to Gearlock City Gezina for a second opinion as the central locking stopped working and I've now lost all confidence in EFC. From the conversation on the phone to entering the business I actually felt like I am the customer. The technician found and fixed the fault in about 10 seconds and told the owners' son, who also works there, that the plug on the wiring harness is damaged and also showed us that one of the plastic boxes connected to this sytem is held together by electrical tape. The technician said that the system will continue giving problems because of this damaged plug....and yes, he was correct. Today, in less than three weeks, the system refuses to activate or deactivate. The only reason that Gearlock City did not continue working on my car was that they were concerned about voiding the two year warrantee and one of the owners, Tania, contacted the owner of EFC, Danie, directly on his cell telling him about this and sending him photos of this taped up box. I went back to them that Saturday and they supposedly worked on it again, fixing whatever was wrong. EFC is comitted to poor workmanship and unproffesional behaviour and making the customer go the extra mile to compensate for their poor workmanship. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY WORK. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

They do not explain a product properly to you and do not have brochers about their products. If you need more info of the product, you need to read more on there website or they copy and past the info from their site and print it for you. They don't give certificates for the products, you only get a warranty. The info they give you regarding the product and the real thing is not the same and does not work. They do not put the product properly on your vehicle and you need to take it back over and over and every time its not done properly. After the interior is done, the next day you need to take your car for a wash. Because your windows on the inside are so oily and can bare lee see through it. The inside is also so sticky and oily. Accordingly to EFC was this product glazing and scotchgard (SONAX) approved by Nissan South Africa.

Sterling service! They had to fix the mess Kia Brits did on my kar's installations and was I kept up to date with what was happening and how long it will take. They arranged for a drop off at work and a pick from work and drop off at home (because of another service delivery failure from Kia Brits). Louisa van Niekerk is a prime example of how to create a "wow" experience for a client and deliver on promises made. They were there until after 6 as she promised that I would get my car today. In a world of constant service delivery failures and empty promises it was refreshing to get a company that actually delivers on their promises. Well done!!
