When I first met Traver, I trusted him completely. After all, he says he is a Pastor, and I am a Christian so I finally felt like I found a builder I can trust. It took me months to find a builder that I could afford! What happened in the end, is it took me 18 months to build instead of 6, I paid Traver to build the house, but instead of paying his contractors, he took the money for himself, he then left me to have to pay the electrician, the plumber and everyone AGAIN. to complete the job. He bribed the engineer to give certificates, so that I could process every bank payout, so he could get the next round of money, he gets kickbacks from all his suppliers, so even if you pay the supplier, then the supplier pays him commission. My house is not built to plan, the walls are out, the window were skew, the roof hasn't been put on properly, there was no waterproofing put in the shower... I could go on.... I have had to pay people to come and fix all the work he has done. Do NOT be fooled by Travors' reasonable quote. You will pay much much more than if you go with a reputable builder. Do not be fooled by his promises to build you a beautiful house, do not be fooled by seemingly trusting nature, he builds to appease the bank assessor, he bribes NHBRC for a certificate, he bribes everyone for the certificates to get the next payout. If you go with Travrer, he will turn everyone on the build against each other, it will cost you dearly. Instead go with AIM Contractors, or Sandy from Red Door, or contact me for George's number. George saved us in the end. I write this review to save you the heartache I went through. 💔

Traver is the biggest ****mer in the construction industry around Table View and Parklands. Poor workmanship, ripping people off their hard earned money. Inflate labor costs and building material. No honesty and integrity. No accountability for poor work quality. Claims to be a God fearing person, but are the biggest bunch of ******. Driven by greed for money. Never trust this contractor for any build big or small. Stay away from Traver and Elohim Construction.

<div>Horrible company. bunch of crooks. They are Zimbabwean. owned by 2 guys, Trevor and Patrick. give a bad name to Zimbabwe as the other Zimbabwean people i know are honest people. They start out very well, which gives you confidence to dish out more money. As soon as they have your money, you hear all kinds of excuses as to why they cant pitch up for work. eventually you have to beg them to come. Plus their workmanship is terrible. Some of our walls are skew, tiling horribly done etc. They are an absolute disgrace and a bunch of thieves</div>

Very negative experience. Very professional at first but once they received the bulk of the contract price I had to beg to get them on site. Also then they started charging extra for things which were included in the contract amount, e.g. waterproofing a new roof which they had just installed. From completion of project at end of December I waited until April for moving of an electricity meter where they engaged an electrician and just washed their hands. Once again the paving which they installed had to be dug up to instal the electricity box and they expect me to pay to replace it. Although on dial a contractor database I would not recommend Elohim.
