We came across EMF Tiling Service on the internet. We have had some bad experiences with tiling contractors and decided to try them. First off the contractor came across as professional and knowledgeable.

The work commenced and when the tiling of the walls were in progress the tiles started falling off the walls. After investigation it was found that the contractor was making us of a Ceramic tile glue for Porcelain tiles. This was voiced to the contractor as a concern and the contractor refuted this,. We then contacted the tile glue suppliers and they sent a representative to our premises. It was explained to the contractor by the representative that only a porcelain tile glue must be used on full body porcelain tiles.

To our amazement the contractor argued with the rep that they always work like this and have never had any complaints. Over and above this we were forced to remove all the tiles and redo the work. On removal it could be seen that a notched trowel was never used to spread the tile glue. The glue was put on in lumps and applied to the surface.

The contractor was not prepared to take responsibility.

Do not lose money as we did. Stay away from this contractor.
