It has been such a rollercoaster after Emit's driver delivered our more than 40k worth of stock on the wrong day which resulted in all our stock being ******. They were given clear instructions as to when to deliver as well as who to contact upon delivery. None of the instructions was followed. Now many months later we still have not been refunded for our loss due to their negligence. Their final feedback, which was also a big issue to get feedback and updates, were that they cannot assist us with the claim or rather they cannot entertain this claim. They can only void the invoice for the delivery.
Honestly a proper handle and clear communication as well as manning up to their MASSIVE error would have been appreciated. We lost over 40k! They are continuing as if it was not their fault, we have all the proof that it was indeed the driver who dropped the stock on a Friday instead of the provided date which was on the Monday after that Friday. We were open to ANY compromise or bit that we could get back instead we had to nag for feedback and was ignored for so long. Our issue was just not important enough to give attention or proper solutions to. We are shocked at the outcome of this matter. A few years ago one of our employees even helped emit when he saw one of their trucks was being looted, he made sure to get a hold of Emit to send their people to recover what could have been recovered. He stood there fighting off looters until back up came, this was before we made use of them. Now it makes you think he actually risked his life to protect their business and now they cannot even provide proper assistance to our wrongful delivery. Not even a proper or official apology. Just a sorry for the inconvenience...inconvenience? Loosing over 40k? Pathetic!
