This is a 3rd party courier used by decofurn. Very fast delivery from Cape Town to East London. Courier staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole process of getting my furniture to EL was seamless!

I wish I could rate this a 0, I recently had an emit truck drive over an island into my lane and even with hooting and flashing my lights the driver ignored the warnings and caused R18 000 damages on the side of my car. The truck driver then drove off and I had to chase him down to get his details for the insurance. The driver denied causing the damages and said he didnt see my car. After getting a third party claim the insurers of Emit took 3 months to investigate and never communicated any information back, they ignored my calls. They then offered a 50% settlement and said that the driver denied any responsibility and therefore I was 50% responsible for the accident. As a supply chain manager I will never recommend Emit for any logistics to my businesses. And looking at other reviews shows that this is not a one time incident. Emit drivers should not be trusted!!!!

It has been such a rollercoaster after Emit's driver delivered our more than 40k worth of stock on the wrong day which resulted in all our stock being ******. They were given clear instructions as to when to deliver as well as who to contact upon delivery. None of the instructions was followed. Now many months later we still have not been refunded for our loss due to their negligence. Their final feedback, which was also a big issue to get feedback and updates, were that they cannot assist us with the claim or rather they cannot entertain this claim. They can only void the invoice for the delivery. Honestly a proper handle and clear communication as well as manning up to their MASSIVE error would have been appreciated. We lost over 40k! They are continuing as if it was not their fault, we have all the proof that it was indeed the driver who dropped the stock on a Friday instead of the provided date which was on the Monday after that Friday. We were open to ANY compromise or bit that we could get back instead we had to nag for feedback and was ignored for so long. Our issue was just not important enough to give attention or proper solutions to. We are shocked at the outcome of this matter. A few years ago one of our employees even helped emit when he saw one of their trucks was being looted, he made sure to get a hold of Emit to send their people to recover what could have been recovered. He stood there fighting off looters until back up came, this was before we made use of them. Now it makes you think he actually risked his life to protect their business and now they cannot even provide proper assistance to our wrongful delivery. Not even a proper or official apology. Just a sorry for the inconvenience...inconvenience? Loosing over 40k? Pathetic!

Horrible service. I have been waiting for a delivery for an entire week now. They called me to say delivery would take place on Wednesday, which did not happen. When I call them, I am constantly being told I will get a call back but no one calls back with any feedback. I have to keep contacting them

Wish there was a zero rating. They ship my order, which was time sensitive, to the wrong address and are in no hurry to fix the problem Meanwhile I have a team of builders sitting idle and getting paid for it due to EMIT courier's mistake. When confronted their answer it more or less " it will get there when it gets there. Don't trust these guys with time sensitive packages.

Horrible, horrible service experience with a bunch of ****s. They messed up their logistics so proceeded to lie and blame it on me. My order is late to being delivered, the deadline has come and gone. That is something that could be easily justified, I’m very easy going, it’s not the end of the world. I wasn’t updated at all, so I called the original company I ordered from. They told me for sure my order would be delivered today and the courier company would be in contact. No one contacted me, gave me a time, confirmation, nothing. Still fine, whatever. I take off work to be available, I wait the whole morning, no one. So I call the original company I ordered from and they are also trying to understand and find out for me. She says they said they tried to call me 3 times and I didn’t answer, which I told her wasn’t true, I’ve been sitting around waiting. She tries to put me through to them multiple times, both the landline and personal phone. They don’t answer even her. Who actually doesn’t answer their phone? Then I get a call from the most stuck up woman at the courier company. She asks to schedule a date for tomorrow, I say no, what happened to today? Her words to me in the most chuffed with herself, most condescending voice were “Well you see you didn’t answer your phone my angel, so the driver had to leave do you understand that? Next time answer your phone.” Excuse me? Who are you speaking to like that? Are you my mother? Just admit you messed up your logistics, went over the deadline and my order isn’t ready to be delivered. Don’t you dare put the blame on me instead and be condescending and rude as if this is a fault of my own? A whole new level of low I’ve never experienced in my life. Luckily, I checked the security cameras from outside my complex for the morning she said the truck was outside waiting for me, and to nobody’s surprise, no truck to be seen anywhere, not even on the main road from either direction. I asked for the proof of the phone calls she made to me which of course she was so chuffed to say “No problem! I’ll get that to you.” Still waiting for the proof, let me guess, doesn’t exist? Oh also, she said to me she called me once. Crazy, could have sworn you told the original company I ordered from you called me 3 times? Not to mention, the work day wasn’t even close to done by then, Bloemfontein isn’t big, bring it now then since you finally got ahold of me? Or is it actually still in Joburg? ****, what a ****. Disgustingly unprofessional behaviour. If you fail to meet your service delivery then own up to it and rearrange, don’t you dare blame the customer and make up things that didn’t happen. Still haven’t received my order, nothing. My R18 000 couch is just lost I guess? So you send the most self-righteous woman to speak down to me and lie about me? Pathetic.
