During January 2016 my cars windscreen was damaged in a section of road works, done by Group 5, under contract of ERO-engineering. I initialy approached Group5 and they quickly send a person to my house to inspect the damage. After this a lot of e-mails followed up to the stage were I was instructed to take my vehicle for an inspection to Glassfit in Malmesbury so they can determine the age of the damage. I informed them I will claim for travel exspenses. I took my vehicle to Glassfit Malmesbury and they informed me that no such inspecton exist. After this I was bluntly informed that I could not proof my claim and no word about my claim for travel. I then aproached the Western Cape Government who informed me that Group 5 said neither of the two men that I was incontact with work for Group 5 and they refered me to ERO engineering. I forwarde all details to them and amazingly all the comunications with one of the men that was claimed not to work for them was forwarded to me. Once again my claim was bluntly refused and all furtehr comunication seized. These to companies are incredably unprofessional in their attitude towards the public. They get contracts worth milions from the government but ignore the individual that suffers damage due to their negligence.
