Paid R65000 for solar panels now their numbers do not work any more. Address showed 5 Star business park, Roodepoort.
About a year ago I switched from Santam to Discovery insurance. I was told that trackers will be installed in my car, but due to the fact that only one of my vehicles was close to a fitment centre they would send me a sensor for the other two vehicles that will be attached to the windshield and then work with my phone's bluetooth. After a week or to I contacted them again to request when the censors will arrive. A few days later one sensor was delivered to my house. I installed it but could not get it activated on my cell phone. I contacted them via the app on my phone and informed them about this as well as that I have received only one censor. I had no response from them. Then one day as I was driving on the R45 Discovery phoned me about my Hyundai that broke down and the panic button was activated. i informed them that I do not own a Hyundai. This happened 2 or 3 time at roughly the same spot on the R45 in the following weeks. I then saw on my app that apparently I lost some point to do speeding or bad driving in Prieska. I have never been to Prieska in my life. If I look at my app today my one car is parked in Prieska for 223 days and the other (the one that I never received a sensor for) in Makhanda for 93 days. I have repeatedly used the app and asked to be contacted, every time it says I will be contacted within 72 hours. I have never been contacted. Since they do not have a landline number, but only a 086 number I will not phone them since that will cost me money for the call. Very poor service. I have to add that the one claim I had for a broken window was dealt with well, but I had to phone them.
When checking my clear score report I found that a credit enquiry was made against my name by SBSA LOAN2. I see many complaints about this. Can Standard bank explain? I am about to apply for a student loan and this is going to affect my credit rating and thus my interest rate.
This evening I ordered something online from deal hub. As an idiot I checked hellopeter after ordering but did not find anything. Then I checked the address of deal hub on google. Same as realisable online store. That's the same company that took several months to delver a product in two weeks. I really *****ed up.
I ordered a set of keys from Reliable store on 6 Feb 2021. I promptly received an email stating that I will receive my product within 16 business days and that I will receive a tracking number. I requested them to send me the promissed tracking number on the 12th and again on the 16th. On the 17th I received an email with delivery dates and on the 18th another email with new dates and it stated I will receive my goods by the 4th of March.. On 23 Feb I received an email stating that the product was received at their warehouse and will be despatched to me soon. On 26 Feb I received an email with my tracking number and it showed that the product will be delivered on the 3rd of March. On the 5th of March I contacted them again and was told that they are waiting for the courier guy to pick up the parcel. On the 17th of March I saw that the company doing the transport indicated that the product was delivered at the client. I contacted Reliable store and ask about it and they told me that that the package was still on its way and will be at their ware house on the 27th of March and will then be despatched and that I will receive a new tracking number. This is their last message to me on the 27th of March, "Hope this email finds you well. We do apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. Your parcel is only arriving on Sunday in our warehouse and we will start dispatch on Monday. This is all because we received a really big shipment and batches were separated making they way to our warehouse bit by bit. As soon as it arrives at our warehouse dispatch will take place immediately. Thank you for your patience." Since then no email was answered and even on their telephone line, after listening to a poor recording telling me that I will be put through to the next consultant after holding for 10 minutes the message just changes to "the extension you are trying to reach is not available at the moment please leave a message. "Worst is you can only phone between 9 and 12 on weekdays.
I had dealings with them a few times and the service, at least with Peugeot and Citroën, was always very good. I would like to mention the service manager Robin Jane that is always very helpful.
I had a minor accident with my car last year. The assessor phoned me and asked for pictures of the damage which I supplied. He then went ahead and made up a quote. He Told me that the damage was close to 50% (write off value) of the cars value but that it should be possible to fix. I handed my car to the panel beaters on 18 January 21 and was told the car would be done on the Friday. Thursday I was phoned by the assessor telling me that there is additional parts required that they found while stripping and this pushes the damage way over 50% but that the car cannot be written off now because there was already expenses with repairs. I made a plan and got the most expensive part and 2 smaller parts second hand myself, but now I still have to pay several R100 out of my own pocket to get my car back. I have tried phoning Standard bank insurance but like all previous times got cut off. I emailed them but like ussaul no response. Last year I also tried to add another vehicle to my insurance, many emails later and I am still waiting for them to phone me back. I did try to add the car over the phone but call was cut off and they never bothered to try and phone me back. Best to avoid this companies insurance.

Recently I descovered that my 15 year old daughter's savings account had a zero balance. I drew bank statements and after a struggle descovered that SOS Sqaud and Hotspotter was deducting money from her account. I contacted both companies and SOS Sqaud refunded all money plus bank charges for these fraudulant transaction. It is fruadulant since a 15 year old cannot enter into any contracts, which by the way she did not. However Hotspotter, like SOS Sqaud, requested bank statements as proof. After supplying the statements I have not heard from them again. I have send them 16 e-mail asking for response with not a peep from them.

During January 2016 my cars windscreen was damaged in a section of road works, done by Group 5, under contract of ERO-engineering. I initialy approached Group5 and they quickly send a person to my house to inspect the damage. After this a lot of e-mails followed up to the stage were I was instructed to take my vehicle for an inspection to Glassfit in Malmesbury so they can determine the age of the damage. I informed them I will claim for travel exspenses. I took my vehicle to Glassfit Malmesbury and they informed me that no such inspecton exist. After this I was bluntly informed that I could not proof my claim and no word about my claim for travel. I then aproached the Western Cape Government who informed me that Group 5 said neither of the two men that I was incontact with work for Group 5 and they refered me to ERO engineering. I forwarde all details to them and amazingly all the comunications with one of the men that was claimed not to work for them was forwarded to me. Once again my claim was bluntly refused and all furtehr comunication seized. These to companies are incredably unprofessional in their attitude towards the public. They get contracts worth milions from the government but ignore the individual that suffers damage due to their negligence.
