Discovery Insure–2 Months to Cancel Incorrect Debit & Still No Refund TWO MONTHS TO CANCEL AND STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY Absolutely unacceptable service from Discovery Insure. I submitted a SIGNED WRITTEN cancellation two months ago, requesting cancellation effective 26 June. Discovery failed to action it and continued to debit my ***. I was then told consultants tried contacting me by phone. Since when does my signed written cancellation require a further telephone confirmation before it is actioned? On 3 August, I spoke to Clinton. The debit was confirmed and I was told my refund would take 5–7 working days. Today is the 7th working day. I followed up again, only to now be told that nobody actually checked whether the debit had gone through and I must wait ANOTHER 5–7 working days. I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS. Discovery's internal administrative failures are not my responsibility. I cancelled in writing. Discovery failed to action it, continued taking my money, gave me a refund timeframe and has now moved the timeframe again. I want my money REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY and written confirmation of payment.
