Very dissappointed after I paid R4000 for a car part on the 07 June 2024 and haven't received it by the 14 June 2024, after being told I would have it by the 11th.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM WESTVAAL SOMERSET WEST AGAIN! be very careful, you are led to believe that the vehicle you are purchasing is reliable and even told that things like breaks and tires are brand new just to find out that they were all lies, they switch of sensor type problems such as engine lights and even after sending the car back twice the issue has not been resolved, car was also returned without a service book which was in the vehicle. Everyone is so supportive during the sales process but aftercare and service after the purchase...especially when things go wrong is non existent. be careful you could be purchasing more problems than you bargained for. No accountability from the team in regards to any of the things I have experience, car was sold with old tires, old brakes, engine light turned on 2 days after purchase, Brocken review mirrors, crack in screen, which was repaired just never communicated, missing crucial compartments, faulty wind wipers... and all of this to a single mom looking for a reliable car. I was promised by the manager of Westvaal Rudolf that he would arrange to collect my car after Easter which was never done, I had to contact them as soon as more issues raised. now I'm stuck with having to deal with the consumers board, having to pay R4000 a month for a car that is falling apart. Such a bad experience. Also every time nothing is fixed they blame being understaffed. Again be careful

Lying, *****ing. My Isuzu went in 60k service and very soon a lady called to say they need to replace the disc pads as they are worn, I said no, they are good. Next service 75k and a lady called same as above and i said no, they are good to go. Next 90k service, SAME story. So the disc pads that Westvaal Somerset West Isuzu wanted to replace 3 times already is still good to go and has done more than 30k up to know. The very same story happened where they wanted to repair chips on my windscreen. Up to now there is not a single chip visible. The dealer principal, Patrick Michael is a man of straw with no backbone. Watch this space for the follow and new episode . Dont buy anything from this dealer. Then their is a clutch claim To be contnuid.Domt mix with men of straw

I had dealings with them a few times and the service, at least with Peugeot and Citroën, was always very good. I would like to mention the service manager Robin Jane that is always very helpful.

We are a new business and we do repairs ons vehicle. We have received a vehicle for repairs and got a quote from Westvaal somerset west when we wanted to order the parts the guy told us that the quote prices they gave us is wrong and that the real prices is much more. He did send us a new quote but it was much more then we told our client when we phoned the parts manager she told us the guy who did the first quote has not been working there long. We ask her to check and see what she can do for us so she did send us a new quote but the prices did not change much. How are we suppose to trust anything they are telling us regarding parts WORST SERVICE EVER

Terrible service. Impossible to book a service with them as they do not respond. You have to physically show up and make an appointment as they do not call you back. This is a bit of a problem for our company as it is the only authorized Chevrelet service centre in the area.

29 October 2018 To whom it my concern Re: Bad client service On the 23rd of August 2018 my vehicle was booked for a service at Westvaal Somerset West, on my arrival I informed the service clerk that my vehicle’s brake pads and wiper blades need to be replace and my left back window does not open and close properly. On my arrival to collect my vehicle the service clerk, Lizelle, explain to me that the brake pads, wiper blades and the replacement part for the window winder needs to be order and that she will let me know as to when I can return my vehicle. On the 19 September 2018 at 12:16, I phoned Westvaal to enquire about the parts and when I need to bring my vehicle in for this to be repaired. Lizelle told me that she will order the parts now and that I must bring in my vehicle on the 26 September 2018. I took my vehicle in on the 26 September 2018 for the parts to be replaced. I phoned Westvaal at 12:48 on the 26 September 2018 to inquire as to when my vehicle will be finish and the service clerk informed me that I could collect my vehicle at 15:00. On my arrival to collect my vehicle the service clerk was not sure where my vehicle was and asked me to wait in reception so that she can find out. On her return she told me that the parts are not there and that my vehicle must come back and that the parts will be orders immediately. On the 11 October 2018 an email was send to Westvaal about this matter without any joy or feedback. On the 18 October 2018 I phoned the service department of Westvaal again and spoke to Lizelle where I asked her to explain what is going on and that I never receive any feedback from her nor the department concerning this matter. She explains to me that she did not get an opportunity to phone all the client because they are understaffed at the moment. I asked her to please speak to the manager and was informed that he was is in a meeting and will phone me back, I am still waiting for the call. On the 26 October 2018 I phoned Westvaal again and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to, Johan, the manager and explain to him the whole matter and he told me he will phone me back before close of business the same day, as he just needed to find out what is going on. I have had no feedback to date. It is clear that Westvaal do not care about their clients. It would appear that it is Westvaal’s policy to delay repairs in the hope that the clients maintains plan and warranty runs out before there do any repairs on vehicle. Please advise Regards M. de Vries

Took bakkie in for service and found top gasket blown. After 3 weeks of multiple phone calls and personal visits I got it back after waiting 2 hours after they said it would be ready. Not washed and workers soiled footprints visible. After 3 weeks it AGAIN leaked water. After promises to collect the morning I had to contact them again to collect. It now has been 5 days and no phone call, mail or sms to inform me what is going on. I thought a second chance might help but this is pathetic service.
