We purchased an 5L Toyota engine and cylinder head from Engines for Africa The engine was fitted and the driver reported the the engine was heavy on diesel , smoking and was very weak . The engine was sent to an engineering company for a technical report and they reported that the cylinder head fitted was in fact the wrong one , it was a 2L cylinder head instead of a 5L cylinder head I contacted Engines for Africa and they said we purchased a head and block from them and not a cylinder head. This is totally incorrect and the experts agree with me. How could I only purchased a head and block what about the cylinder head I have never experienced such poor service from any company and our company has bought many engines over the last twenty years Never in my life will I ever have a good word for the director and the manager of Engines for Africa. Am I surprised , no I am not . After reading alll the negative reports I fully understand what type of business we were dealing with

I bought a turbo new for ford ranger weat engine 28-06-2024. I have finished building the engine 12-12-2024 and put the turbo in with the gaskets from ford oem parts. Then I used 5w30 oil in the engine. We drove the engine at 500km it started to smoke white so we did investigate and found turbo damaged core is very loose. 15 January 2025 we came to Denver where we bought it and was told that it's not their problem and I should leave.

Pathetic manager from the Denver branch. Does not speak to customers, very rude when he does. I will never buy from this business again, wouldn't recommend it if it's the last thing on earth. Pity I can't give zero star. Herman Muller is very rude and arrogant. Should not be managing a ****a shop let alone such a business

A gentleman by the name of Clinton has no telephone etiquette. To have such an unprofessional person answer a phone for such a reputable business, is very concerning. As desperate as i am i will not deal with Engines for Africa again. It is sad that one person can blemish a company. Who working in a reputable company, answers no, no for e everything while the customer is explaining her situation.

I don't know how y'all still in business. I bought an engine ,put in my car and didn't start .toke it back, and the service was worse than before. They made me drive with my engine from selby to Denver to meet with another rude person that told me I won't get my refund. Reason being import engines are not 100% the same with SA engines, in the process of fitting the engine I had to replace same parts with my own engine parts for it to perfectly fit ,only to find out the engine was of a different model car .just like that my gurrenty is voided. Now am sitting with an engine I can't use
