I worked at Eskimo Air last year, they are complete rip offs they lie to their customers and over charge them, last year August I got Covid and had to quarantine, they fired me for it. I was even told I would be working set times so I need to get a reliable transport, when I did they made me finish at odd times I had to wait hours for my transport in that high crime area, and I was told yo start at 8 but when I got to work at 7:45 they told me I was late!!!! 😡 they're absolutely ridiculous, according to the law you are not allowed to fire someone when they stay away due to being Covid positive!!!

**WARNING** Please do NOT bring your vehicle here for any air-conditioning issues, my cars AC was not working, so I've decided to bring here to get looked at. Brendan looked at it he confirmed it just needed re-gassing and the compressor was absolutely fine (he confirmed that he heard it engage) after me asking him a few times if the compressor was the issue. After paying for the re-gas which was around R540 and him performing the AC service, the AC still did not blow cold, after informing him he mentioned the issue was the compressor which he confirmed was working fine before re-gassing the system. I was charged for a re-gas after being lied too that the system was on low on refrigerant and needed a top up to work. This is not only unethical and dishonest but also on the borders of fraudulent practices. Also, if you are bringing your vehicle here, please ensure that you only make payment after confirming the issue has been fixed. I then took the vehicle to "cool Ideas" (2 minutes away from this place) and a guy by the name of Steve diagnosed and informed me the issue. Steve did not charge me a cent yet he did more checks then Brendan from Eskimo air, Steve and his team took their time to check the AC system and even gave me some good and honest advice on a way forward to fix the issue.

On 09 Jan 2020, I took my car to Eskimo Air PTY LTD as the air con was not working properly. The owner Brandon changed the control sensor. I paid him R1000.00. As I drove home, the air con was still not working so I phoned him. I told him I will take the car for a longer drive and if the air con still doesn't work, I will bring it back. He agreed. I took the car back and Brandon change the relay, however the air con still did not work. I took the car back for the third time on 25 Jan 2020, not sure what Brandons worker did but the air con worked properly. I parked the car at the airport from 26-30 Jan 2020 however the car did not start on the night of the 30 January 2020. I phoned Brandon to explain to him and I also notified him that a funny sound was coming from the car. I wasn't sure it if it was the clutch, but Brandon said he didn't do anything wrong. he said that I must bring the car back, he will remove his sensor and his relay and pay me back the R1000.00. Brandon said that I must take the car to Bosch. My car had to be jump-started in order for me to go home from the airport at night. I bought a new Willards battery on 31 January 2020. However the car still did not start on 02 Feb 2020 at approx. 12pm. I took the car to Ford Mt Edgecombe, but they refused to assist as I did not make an appointment. So I took the car to Bosch. Bosch had the car for one day and the diagnostic do not identify any faults on 03 Feb 2020. I paid Bosch R569.25 The next day the car did not start, I had to jump start it, took it back to Bosch on 10 Feb 2020, Bosch replaced a sensor after keeping the car for 3 days. I paid Bosch R3246.36. I phoned Brandon to explain as the agent from Bosch advised that there must be a warranty, but he went off in a tangent screaming above his voice and was extremely arrogant.. He did not want to take any responsibility. Initially he told me to take the car to Bosch but now he saying that Bosch is a bunch of crooks. I reminded him that he was the one who said I must take the car to Bosch. His reply was that I was supposed to take the car to Bosch in Mt Edgecombe and not the Bosch in North Coast Road who are a "crooks". Brandon and Bosch in Mt Edgecombe have a very close relationship as they recommend clients to each other, therefore he insisted I take the car to that Branch. His solution was to bring my car back to him so he can take the sensor and relay that he put in and to give me back the R1000.00 that he charged. The next day the car still did not start. I took the car back to Bosch on 17 Feb 2020.Bosch replaced the relay as the Brandon from Eskimo air created a 'bridge' on the relay which Bosch indicated was constantly drawing current from the battery. Bosch also indicated that the relay is the original Ford relay and have not been replaced as Brandon claimed he did. I have the picture and the original relay that Bosch gave me. The car did not start on 19 Feb 2020 at 17h00 even though the relay was changed. I took it to Ford Pinetown which picked up the battery was dead and had to pay Ford approximately R800.00. The relay further damaged the brand new Willards battery.
