Elton Housing co/Ewendy Construction scam
As mentioned here this company is a fraud. Their website seems legit, so does their company registration and Facebook. This is the same business under a different name. https://www.facebook.com/eltonhousing/about/?ref=page_internal https://ewendy.co.za This guy did the same as he did above. Quotes you and promises to do the job, then promises a refund and never does the job. Also stop responding to calls, emails. Please be careful people and do not be tempted by the prices. We learned the hard way.

As mentioned here this company is a fraud. Their website seems legit, so does their company registration and Facebook. Quotes you and promises to do the job, then promises a refund and never does the job. Also stop responding to calls, emails. Please be careful people and do not be tempted by the prices. We learned the hard way.

I hope he never gets people to scam again
As it is not possible to give zero stars I have leave 1 ....but please people I'm trying a way to find this guy as he is busy scamming the people he was suppose to build us a place and we paid a deposit of 13 500rand and on the day he had to come he never showed said meterial went up and needs more money and I didn't want to pay any further he said he's gonna refund never did that because it's been 2weeks already and he evens blocked me and the adress they supposedly have on they page there is no office of them evens there

Ewendy construction Will Scam you
Please be careful of this company.On the 02/02/2022 I followed up after seeing an add on the first page on google while searching for a nutec Wendy house. I asked my other half to please request quotations. She spoke to a man who called himself Elton after selecting the whatsapp chat option and requested a quote for a 3x3meter Wendy which Is advertised at R9000.00. I asked my other half to forward the number for Elton to me so that I could get the quote from from him and schedule in a day for the Wendy to get delivered and built. Elton sent me a quote which listed the Wendy at R9000.00 and a charge of R1000.00 for delivery and set up. The total being R10000.00 which is a bargain if you ask me. He requested that I pay R5000.00 as a deposit and the balance once completed which is understandable. I paid him the deposit and forwarded proof of payment. Elton replied stating received and he had an open slot on his schedule for 10:30am and no later on Saturday 5/02/2022. I agreed that would work perfectly as I would need it in before the following Monday and we were all set. On the day of delivery my other half made contact at 08:30 with Elton just to be sure that we will be all set and if they are still on schedule. Elton respond stating that they are on the move and just picking up materials before coming through to our premises to meet the 10:30am arrangement. Myself and my other half made provisions and cleared the area where we planned to have the Wendy house built but at 10:48am we received a message from Elton stating that he cannot come in to do the work or supply the Wendy as he wants me to pay him an additional R4000.00 and once that is paid he will only commence work the following Tuesday. This is a shocking way to do business and it gave me cold feet so I told him that this was not what we agreed upon and how on earth can he just turn around and cancel followed by asking me for the Balance before he even thinks about rescheduling? I hope to get some legal advise as I told Elton to rather refund me if he is going to let us down. He brushed off my request to be refunded and said he would call me back later. So far He has ghosted me, Yes I was angry and threatened to take this further if he did not refund me but there is no reason to evade as the day goes to the next and Mr Elton has ran off with my money and will not do either of the ethical business resolutions, No1 sticking to the agreement we have in writing or NO2: just refund the money I have paid. I feel robbed and will do everything in my power to warn those that they must not use their hard earned money to pay for a service which will never manifest. You will get robbed and they do not care to rectify their faults.
