Over Promise and Never Deliver

Excel Finance never give feedback when they promise to phone you back. I was promised in writing that if I move over to Excel Finance my debt review will be resolved within 9 months. I joined September 2023 and already had issues with one of my creditors from November 2023. I kept on asking why the creditor was behind and either did not get a response to my question or told issue was handled.

I lived for June 2024 as I believed the strict I was caught in by another company would be lifted and I could start making my dreams come true.

June came and nobody of the company even acknowledge my concerns or my questions around when I will be getting my clearance certificates. July came and gone and also no feedback from Excel Finance.

I pulled my credit report and realized that my credit score was affected because of the arrears at the one creditor (I have been asking about from November 2023) and the debt review flag was not lifted. I sent email to Excel Finance and got a rather watered down response that my issues are being looked at. I forwarded another email and WhatsApp messages to Excel requesting a senior manager to phone me.

Saturday 7 September 2024 I got a phone call from a Call Agent wanting to sell me the Excel Finance product and how it would benefit from me. I asked the call agent to transfer me to a senior manager and I spoke to a gentlemen called Richard - that I truly believe is the same guy that has been dodging me from November last year.

He told me that there was no promises made for 9 months and I send him all the proof of the conversation I had with the agent when I joined in September 2023 and where on many times during the gathering of information, I got the confirmation that my contract is only for 9 months. I have the full conversation copied and saved as well as all the conversations I had with the team.

Richard promised to phone me back on Monday, 9 September 2024 and then when I followed up yesterday, I was told "Good day, Ma'am. As promised you will receive feedback tomorrow. Thank you."

It is now 16:41 on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 and I am reaching out to all people that might be thinking of joining this company - stay away as they over promise and never deliver.
