They say a company’s recruitment process sets the tone for what you can expect as an employee and based on my experience with EXL, that’s concerning. I was invited for an interview at 08:30, and the process dragged on until 17:00 with little communication or regard for candidates’ time.
The experience was disorganised, and the recruitment staff did not demonstrate the professionalism one would expect from an HR team. EXL would benefit from modernising its hiring process, perhaps digitising certain steps to avoid unnecessary face-to-face delays. There’s significant room for improvement.
