Expert Appliances should be renamed as Expert Con Artists
When we first phoned them due to our Samsung Freezer not working, they came to our house fairly quickly (within 24 hours) . They then apparently fixed our issue and demanded payment immediately of R 2700 which we paid. Less than 5 days later we had exactly the same issue and I phoned them to come round and fix as per heir one year warranty…. From then on it was a nightmare as they never returned one call. We only managed to get hold of them (and I say them as there were 3 numbers we were given – Joel , Bheki and Biento) when we used a different number to phone them from. Of course, they then repeatedly promised to come to our house to fix the freezer. In the meantime, 2 weeks went past with a phone call or more each day and a promise each day for one of them to visit. Finally, they did actually arrive almost 3 weeks later and said it was now a gas problem and they re-gassed it. It was not working when they left but they promised overnight it would settle which of course it did not. Since then, we have phoned, WhatsApp and messaged and they have never returned or answered one call. We have now used a different service provider to fix the fridge who say nothing has been replaced and the fridge has been over gassed.
Bottom line is do not touch expert appliance with a barge pole. Our assumption is that they are obviously professional con artists!!
