Heed this warning: Avoid
Contracted these guys to do a complete re-roof of my house and paid a substantial deposit upfront. Sales talk was wonderful but immediately after paying my deposit I realised that I was in for trouble.
Took three weeks to get a planned scheduled from them and it just kept deteriorating from there.
Long story short, 4 months later and I am still with only half a roof on my house. Various sub-contractors that absconded after not being paid, correct materials not on-site, shoddy workmanship. I could go ad-nauseam.
The only purpose of this review is to be a word of caution to anyone else out there. Approach with extreme caution but preferably not at all.

05 Dec 2018, 20:21Referring to the comment made above We originally quoted for the strip of the exisiting roof and replace with new. The client after accepting the quotation made contact with us to rather remove the existing roof him self only to save money resulting in delays from his side. He also decided to make major change and ignored detail such as kitchen roof simply just demolished. When we eventually started also desided to intervene with the subcontractor not allowing them to finsih the work in stages. Daily complaints with trusses not being straight even though the subcontractor are still bussy aliening the trusses. With the above said also just chasing the second subcontractor from site due to 4 sheets out of 97 sheets dented due to handling. We did advice the client that things as such does happen. He should allow the guys to finish. Work will be snagged and if required be replaced. He however ignores this and simply once again unethically chased the guys from site. To date Explicit Roofs has done hundreds of housing project all over Gauteng including shopping centres, hospitals. With reference to the above emails will cladly be shred on request. We can also prove in-respect of depsit paid that not one cent is owned to the client. The client is in default with us. Any one also welcome to request our company profile with references to work done from the biggest construction companies in South Africa to the smalles of small
