I hosted a baby shower for my sister on the 15th of November and I want to thank Joshua, and the entire team for the amazing service. You went the extra mile with everything — from helping us decorate to even providing doggy bags at no extra cost. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. For anyone planning an event, I highly recommend www.dopio.io. Thank you for making our day so special.

Sadly , to date we have no responce from Eye of Africa. From: Yusuf Chothia ********** Sent: 14 August 2018 03:15 PM To: ********** Subject: Dissapointed / Dissatisfied Golfing experience. Eye of Africa. Good Day Sir Having not played at your course since late Feb 2018 we decided to play at your Course Eye of Africa last Thursday 9 August 2018 at 8:10am. I booked the 4 ball on Wednesday afternoon with Tumi and was quoted a price of R 450-00 for the round including carts. Our dissatisfaction began when we arrived at the course only to be informed that the fees for the round would be R650-00 plus R 110-00 compulsory competition fee , totalling R 760-00 per player excluding any drinks or meals that we would have to pay for. Rather steep as most other clubs had special golf deals on the public holiday which would have cost almost halve of what we paid. We were not informed of this higher rate nor were we informed of the compulsory competition fee which made the round unaffordable for me and my playing partners , and sadly in the current tough economic climate we would have booked at a course that was affordable to us. Transparency is key, however being “Die Hard Golfers” we opted to play. When we reached the halfway house there are no provisions made for Halaal / vegetarian / Kosher meals, the only items on offer where Chicken or Beef Burgers. There was not even a variety of potato crisps, only Beef flavour on offer and even if we could have eaten the meals on offer that day , the meals were cold and to top it all off the coffee was ICE cold. Very disappointing indeed. I just hope that the group playing in front and behind us reported this matter as well as they were just as disappointed as us. The sad issue is that this matter has been brought to management’s attention many times but no response or attempt has been made to cater for non Halaal / vegetarian / kosher meals. Whilst your course may not take the Halaal issue seriously one need only investigate the impact Halaal meals / products have made to other courses economic wellbeing. Most clubs that we play at cater for some sort of Halaal / Vegetarian / Kosher meals in the interest of keeping their guests / visitors happy , and to be honest it does not cost any more to cater for Halaal meals. One begs the question that as much as we enjoyed playing your course Eye of Africa, in general was the overall golfing experience worthwhile or not and were / are there other better alternatives ? Undoubtedly there are and in future would I or my playing partners either play or recommend playing Eye of Africa any time soon ? Unfortunately not , until and unless some serious changes are made to address and rectify the issues and concerns raised above. Regards. Yusuf Chothia.

Contacted the golf course to play on Thursday and there were unlimited tee-off time available. it cost R800 for two students to play a round. Golf course under utilized , no one playing.
Owners currently have to put their hands in their pocket to keep the golf course because not enough people play on the golf course.
Owners wake up, more and more levies to pay.
