REFUSES TO REFUND DEPOSIT - UNEMPLOYED SINGLE MOM!!!
This company is the very worst to work with. They are making money from people who are in desperate situations, ie Covid makes your job redundant they offer to help you get a vehicle. What the company fails to explain is that they are making an almost 200% margin on this service? Offer Zero reprieve during a pandemic and harass consumers into paying deposits on cars that are yet to arrive in the countrty. They have tied a friend of mine into a contract where she has paid a deposit on a car, she was happy, and then it all started - First Ezland did not have stock, then when they eventually did have a car, a TRIBER at R 8000 per month the cost increased, leasing contract changed and all prior terms became null and void, with jo prior notice. NOW she would not like to have a car on these terms but Dirk and will also not refund her the deposit she has paid?? Surely this is unconstitutional? The CPA terms 16 states that if the consumer receives their product by paying a deposit, the consumer is also then welcome to return the product o rget their money back within 5 days ? They have had R 13000 of hers for over 6 months and refuse to refund once cent..... This is a joke - exploiting single mothers during a pandemic with a basic request that will make an enormous difference to her and her kids. Lockdown, single parent and self-employed mother of 2, and there is no leeway ????? Surely this goes against our rightsb as consumers? Ezland Wheels we expect a refund by COB on Monday, Dirk and Zelia have been nothing but argumentative and pushy with regards car sales vs seeing the bigger picture.
