I was doing an apprenticeship sponsored by EWSETA at False Bay College. I passed my trade test on the 15th of May 2024. Up to date I have not received my certificate. I called the EWSETA and they they told me that they are still waiting for 3 documents from False Bay College. 1. Quality assurance report 2. Post moderation report 3. Internal moderation results It's almost 2 years and those documents hasn't been submitted. People's lives are at standstill, people can't secure jobs because these certificates are required whenever they apply for jobs.

After completing my part-time studies with the college, they released my certifications even though I still owed the college, they never held me hostage with my certifications, rather, they informed me to come and collect and make a payment plan. Thank you False Bay for showing ethical integrity and humility in dealing with such cases. Thank You so much. #BlackFriday

False Bay College is a public learning institution but some individuals given HoD titles think it is their backyard private business. C'mon False Bay you can do better.

I did my N3 in 2007, ever since then I have been trying to get my certificate to no avail. Today I find out it's because the college registered me for N3 and grade 12, now the department of education can't combine the results.

Can't believe anyone who comes out of the college can be of service to any community: The staff I dealt with were dishonest and kept me 'on a string' for more than a week and then eventually provided a quote (that should have been provided in 3 days) but which was un-useable and could not be taken seriously by anyone. The principal wasn't any better - offered a worthless 'apology' and couldn't acknowledge the dishonesty of staff, in spite of evidence provided. Only a waste of my time...

Good stories need to told and appreciated and so is bad experience so to improve. I would like to appreciate the great work done by the distance learning campus. Registration is seamless, book ordering is paperless, delivery of books is in less than 72 hours ofcause this is greatly compromised by us not filling forms clearly. The staff go out of their way to give support virtually and encouraging too. Exam time they are so punctual and nerve easing by invigilators is soo perfect. For travelers like me to final exams the OLC is so helpful and resourced too. Ofcause i like mentioning names when necessary. Sanelisiwe Qungwana Ms Tammy Swartz Ms Nthapeleng Pharela Ms Pratisha Preamchad Mr. Mgandela Mrs. M. Theron Ms. Karin Hendricks these name range from the clerk to the Principal and yes as much as im distance learner ive met all except for the Principal as she is so busy and that they all were told by myself in person as to the great work they do for us learners. If you are looking to learn and get skilled this College with give you all the support you need not just for promotion purposes but most KNOWLEDGE. Keep up the good work colleagues

I would like to commend False Bay College in Muizenberg and also thank my many lecturers who taught me from Feb 2021 to around Jul 2022 Tourism N4 - N6 Tourism ND. I would like to specifically sing the praises of my Travel Services lecturer Mr. N. Mbatyazwa who was my strictest lecturer, but who possessed in him a spirit of excellence and consistency and a love of giving lots of homework. His subject was my favourite subject. Also thanks to my communications lecturer, Mrs Gillian Thomas, Mrs Nadia Kannemeyer and the kindest administration assistant, Pamela Vermeulen. What a great institution.
