I am rather annoyed that it was not made clear that sporting goods will be charged as extra baggage. I flew in with airlink and there was no charge for my bag and now I just had to pay USD 40 for my bag. Thank you for making it so clear when booking Fastjet!

don’t know how Fastjet even calls itself an airline at this point. From the minute you book, it’s chaos. Flights are delayed without warning, zero proper communication, and when you try to reach customer service, it feels like shouting into the void; they’re either unavailable, give vague answers, or just don’t care. What’s worse is the attitude: instead of solutions, you get excuses. Passengers are left stranded, wasting time and money, while Fastjet acts like it’s all normal. Affordable fares mean nothing if the whole experience is unreliable and stressful. Honestly, after dealing with Fastjet, I’d rather pay extra with SAA or Airlink and know I’ll actually leave on time and be treated like a customer. Fastjet is cheap for a reason — you pay for your ticket with your sanity.
