I've been here for several times and I must say ts the best in Waterfront, what I love about them is that they also cater for kids and the live band is always amazing. Ts a great place to go as a family or to bond with your partner. I would highly recommend them and the customer service ts always 100/10.. Keep on doing great.

Terrible service. After booking a table in advance for a large group of people for a function, I get called by them saying that my reservation is cancelled because they realised there's a rugby game on the same day as my booking. My function had nothing to do with the rugby, yet had to be cancelled to make space for other customers... Unprofessional and unreliable. Thank you for the last minute inconvenience, we will gladly take our business elsewhere.

On Friday evening, 23 Oct 2020, 3 lady friends (including myself) wanted to have an after-dinner drink at Ferrymans Tavern. We entered happily and smiling, but were rudely chased out by an angry male employee (the manager?) who told us that "his" bar is very busy and can we not see he has barred off the entrance. This was not clear to us. In addition the tavern was less than half full, with lovely music playing. He scolded us angrily by saying we should have waited only 10 minutes and perhaps then he could assist us. Up to this point we said nothing, and was shocked as the tone of his voice sounded that he is doing us a favour by allowing us into the tavern. I then said to my friends let us leave, and just said the word "Rude!" to him. This was a very distasteful ending to an otherwise lovely evening in the Cape Town Waterfront. I do not understand this behaviour, as we are locals, and in the absence of international tourist during the COVID pandemic, surely restaurants would welcome local support?

Hey On Sunday night i had a ladies evening with my 3 girls and we decided to go to Ferrymans Tavern. firstly we got there and moved to all both bars no one helped us and the inside bar i had to be next to get serve this guy moved over to the next person i never wanted to say this but They are very races for about 30mins standing at the bar with no help we where about to leave and we bumped in to a waiter and we told him what happened and he said he will take our order and we must go and sit we where abit happy to a point where i thought our night was spoilt but we made it fun and we had an amazing night we where dancing and having fun as normal. We meet a group off travelers and they asked us to join them at there table and we went we were chatting and just having fun with them there where nice friendly people they left about 30mins after that the tour guy come back begging us to join them the next day we informed them that we will try and we sat for a while chatting and we left. They asked us to join them the next day next day for lunch but we where working the next day and they said we should meet up for drinks than at the same place. After work we went there and they didn't want us to get in the people was so rude they chased us away but couldn't give a reason . All the manger had to say was and i quote " the way you behaved last night" but couldn't tell us how we behaved last night. Even until now they still cant give a reason. I wont stop until i get a reason. We where told to come the next day so that we can talk to the GM (Kiko). Im a very busy woman i dont have time to run after people i asked my Assistance to call in and find out why they didnt want us in and she was given so much attitude i was shocked this guy by the name of Kiko who is the GM don't have manners or he don't know how to talk to people at all and he just hanged up when she was still talking to him.

Ferryman's Tavern, a place where it always is a good place to be, but Saturday evening when me and my girlfriend went there for drinks but it only ended up to be one drink. I waited twenty minutes for a waiter. And then finally we could place our order, I ordered a drink. When I was halfway with my drink, the waitress brought the bill but left. I while later she brought the card machine and asked me to pay, I asked her why she forced me to pay and her response was that somebody told her that I wanted to pay, she said that she didn't remember who it was. I paid for it but left drinking one drink... I really liked the place but now I feel like I don't want to go there anymore but that type of attitude from the waitress I don't want.
